    Abstract: A communication device includes a processor configured to: transfer, via a transceiver, a wireless data signal within a communication frequency range; determine a capability of the communication device to measure a wireless radar signal received via the transceiver, the wireless radar signal having a frequency within the communication frequency range; transmit, via the transceiver to a network entity, a first indication of the capability of the communication device to measure the wireless radar signal, the first indication being indicative of a transmit power level of the wireless radar signal from a source of the wireless radar signal or a received power level of the wireless radar signal at the communication device; receive, via the transceiver, the wireless radar signal; determine a positioning measurement of the wireless radar signal; and transmit a second indication of the positioning measurement via the transceiver to the network entity.

    Abstract: A radio frequency sensing method includes: receiving, at a sensing apparatus from a network entity, a configuration message indicating a positioning reference signal configuration of a positioning reference signal; receiving, at the sensing apparatus from the network entity, a measurement indication indicating that the positioning reference signal is for radio frequency sensing; and measuring, at the sensing apparatus, the positioning reference signal to determine one or indicating a positioning reference signal more radio frequency sensing measurements based on the measurement indication indicating that the positioning reference signal is for radio frequency sensing.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive an announcement message from each sidelink anchor device of one or more sidelink anchor devices, wherein the announcement message includes a sidelink anchor device identifier and an indication that the sidelink anchor device is available for positioning services. The UE may measure the announcement message from each sidelink anchor device to determine a signal strength measurement associated with the sidelink anchor device. The UE may report, to a network node, one or more preferred sidelink anchor devices from the one or more sidelink anchor devices, wherein the one or more preferred sidelink anchor devices are determined based on the signal strength measurement respectively associated with each sidelink anchor device of the one or more sidelink anchor devices.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided for aligning radio frequency (RF) sensing operations with base station discontinuous reception (DRX) and discontinuous transmission (DTX) cycles. An example method for performing RF sensing operations with a wireless node according to the disclosure includes receiving discontinuous reception or discontinuous transmission information for the wireless node, determining one or more on periods and one or more off periods based on the discontinuous reception or the discontinuous transmission information, performing radio frequency sensing operations with the wireless node during the one or more on periods, and ceasing radio frequency sensing operations with the wireless node during the one or more off periods.

    Abstract: A reference signal measurement method includes: receiving, at a user equipment from a transmission/reception point, a quasi co-location indication that indicates that a first signal, from the transmission/reception point and corresponding to a first radio access technology, is quasi co-located with a second signal from the transmission/reception point and corresponding to a second radio access technology that is different from the first radio access technology; receiving, at the user equipment from the transmission/reception point, the first signal and the second signal; and measuring, at the user equipment, the first signal based on the quasi co-location indication indicating that the first signal is quasi co-located with the second signal.
