    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit signaling to a user equipment (UE) indicating one or more resources for a relay data transmission and a priority scheme for the relay data transmission and a current data transmission. The priority scheme may indicate a priority value for the relay data transmission and the current data transmission. The UE may selectively transmit the relay data transmission, the current data transmission, or both based on the priority scheme. If the priority scheme indicates the current data transmission has a higher priority than the relay data transmission, then the UE may transmit the current data transmission using the resources. If the priority scheme indicates the current data transmission has a lower priority than the relay data transmission, then the UE may transmit the relay data transmission using the resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Multiple component carriers may be configured for communications between communication devices, where uplink data channel resources may be scheduled on a component carrier of the component carriers. A communication device may report, over the uplink data channel resources to another communication device, a first report for available transmission power for uplink data transmissions over the component carrier and a second report associated with available transmission power for uplink control transmissions over a second component carrier. The other communication device may use the second report to determine the available transmission power for uplink control transmissions over the second component carrier. The other communication device may schedule communication resources based on the determined available transmission power for uplink control transmissions.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify and schedule a set of bits in the physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) for transmission of feedback for downlink transmissions occurring after transmission of the uplink grant scheduling the PUSCH. After receiving the uplink grant, a user equipment (UE) may receive control channel (PDCCH) transmissions that schedule downlink transmissions. The UE may monitor for and generate feedback for the downlink transmission. The UE may then utilize the bits indicated by the UL grant to transmit the feedback. In some examples, the UE may determine whether the indicated bits are adequate to transmit the feedback for the later downlink transmissions. When the UE determines that the extra bits are not adequate (e.g., there are not enough bits), then the UE may determine to transmit the feedback separate from the PUSCH resources scheduled by the uplink grant.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support signaling for energy harvesting at a first device. In some examples, the first device may transmit, to a second device, an indication of one or more an energy conversion efficiency factors, power threshold parameters, power levels, battery power levels, or the like. Based on receiving the indication of the one or more of the characteristics, the second device may determine a radio frequency power for subsequent signaling. The second device may transmit a signal having the determined radio frequency power, and the first device may receive the signaling and convert at least a first portion of the radio frequency power to direct current (DC) power.
