Abstract: A vehicle and a window assembly include a window movable between a closed and open position. The assembly includes an arm movable between a first and second position. The window is disposed in the closed position when the arm is in the first position and the window disposed in the open position when the arm is in the second position. The arm includes an extension fixed thereto such that the arm and the extension both move concurrently about a first pivot point. The assembly includes a connector coupled to the extension at a second pivot point. The arm is coupled to the window through the connector. The first and second pivot points are spaced from each other. The connector is coupled to the window such that movement of the arm moves the connector about the second pivot point which causes the window to move between the closed and open positions.

Abstract: A vehicular opening/closing body control device includes: a braking control unit configured to apply a braking force to an opening/closing body provided in an opening in a vehicle; a traveling state determination unit configured to determine a traveling state of the vehicle; an abnormality detection unit configured to detect occurrence of a full-closing abnormality in which the opening/closing body is not held in a fully-closed state during the traveling of the vehicle; and a record holding unit configured to hold a detection record of the full-closing abnormality, wherein the braking control unit executes braking control through detection of the full-closing abnormality of the opening/closing body, and in a case where the detection record of the full-closing abnormality is held after the vehicle stops, executes the braking control of the opening/closing body based on the detection record of the full-closing abnormality before the vehicle travels.

Abstract: A trackless free-swinging bi-fold door that eliminates the standard guide tracks of conventional bi-fold doors and replaces them with two pivot pin hinges, a simple door modification and a magnet catch. The door modification consists of a spring mechanism connecting the two door panels. The door can be opened as a straight swinging door, and as a conventional bi-fold door. A hinge attaches the door to a door panel that allows the door to swing entirely out of the way of the door portal.

Abstract: A static hinge disabler is provided for preventing the operation of a door hinge. The static hinge disabler includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a channel, and a cap. The first sidewall is substantially parallel to the second sidewall. The channel is disposed between the first sidewall and the second sidewall and configured to receive at least a portion of the door hinge therein. The first sidewall and the second sidewall are statically connected such that the channel does not change shape. The first sidewall and the second sidewall therefore prevent the door hinge from operating while the door hinge is disposed within the channel.

Abstract: An adjustable carriage assembly includes a body; a hinge pin disposed in a threaded first bore of the body, the hinge pin having a threaded end and a first longitudinal axis; a lock post disposed in a second bore of the body, the lock post having a second longitudinal axis; a torsion spring disposed around the lock post; and a retention pin disposed in a third bore of the body to retain the lock post in the second bore. A method of using the assembly is also provided.
