Abstract: A base station is configured to transmit wake-up signals to a user equipment to wake-up the UE to receive a page from the base station. The base station transmits one or more synchronization signals, wherein the synchronization signals correspond to a wake-up signal (WUS) that is to be transmitted to a user equipment (UE) operating in a paging discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle, wherein the paging DRX cycle includes a paging occasion (PO) and transmits the WUS to the UE during a WUS occasion, wherein the WUS indicates whether the UE is to utilize an active mode or a sleep mode during the PO.

Abstract: A method for operating user equipment (UE) includes generating, by the UE, a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) list including one or more TPMIs selected from a set of available TPMIs stored at a base station (BS). Data indicative of the TPMI list is transmitted to the BS. An index of the TPMI list is transmitted to the BS. Downlink control information (DCI) is received from the BS including an indication of at least one TPMI from the TPMI list based on the index. Uplink data is transmitted to the BS on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using the at least one TPMI.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for performing uplink transmissions during a dual active protocol stack handover. A wireless device may determine a propagation delay between the wireless device and each of a source cell and a target cell of a dual active protocol stack handover by the wireless device. The wireless device may provide an indication to the source cell of the propagation delay between the wireless device and the source cell, the propagation delay between the wireless device and the target cell, and a propagation delay difference handling capability of the wireless device. The cellular base station that provides the source cell may determine a time division multiplexing pattern for uplink communication for the wireless device during the dual active protocol stack handover based at least in part on the information provided by the wireless device.

Abstract: Methods to enhance the coverage of NR systems for coverage-limited wireless devices are disclosed. A serving base station may configure a coverage-limited UE with parameters for the UE to operate in a coverage enhancement mode through RRC signaling, DCI, or RAR grant. The UE may use the configuration parameters to determine whether to enter into the coverage enhancement mode when connecting and communicating with the serving base station. The configuration parameters may configure the UE to exploit both time diversity and frequency diversity to extend and enhance coverage when receiving PDSCH and PDCCH channels. The UE may use the configuration parameters to receive PDSCH and PCCCH that are coverage enhanced using time repetitions and frequency hopping. Advantageously, the base station may flexibly and dynamically configure the UE with coverage enhancement parameters to extend the coverage of the UE using time diversity and frequency diversity gains as the UE moves around.

Abstract: A base station (BS) comprising a processor configured to perform operations is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the operations include receiving an initial data from a UE is in a RRC_INACTIVE while the UE does not transition from the RRC_INACTIVE state to a RRC_CONNECTED state. Abstract: Systems and methods used by reduced sensing user equipment (UE) (relative to a full sensing UE) are disclosed herein. A UE performing partial sensing may use knowledge of resource reservation periods for a resource pool of one or more resources to reduce sensing as compared to the full sensing case. A UE performing resource re-evaluation and/or resource pre-emption may use one or more sensing windows that are relatively smaller than windows used in the full sensing case to reduce sensing. A UE performing prioritized resource selection may use a sensing window to determine availability of resources within a prioritized resource selection window with a high reliability, thereby reducing the need to spend power on other sensing methods (which may include full sensing methods). Combinations of these embodiments are also contemplated.
