    Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure disclose a multi-link communication method and a related apparatus. In a scenario in which simultaneous transmission and reception over a plurality of links is not supported, a multi-link device first sends a first physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) over a first link, and then sends a second PPDU over a second link through channel contention, where an end time of the second PPDU is not later than an end time of the first PPDU. The method not only ensures fairness of multi-link access, but also can reduce an idle rate of the plurality of links.

    Abstract: This application provides a power state determining method and apparatus, to determine a power state of a first access point in a power save mode, to reduce power consumption of a transmit end and a receive end, and improve communication accuracy. In the method, an access point multi-link device determines a priority sequence of different operations when the first access point is in the power save mode, and determines the power state of the first access point. The operations include one or more of link disablement, an aperiodic wakeup request, and periodic target wakeup.

    Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication, and in particular, to an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) hybrid transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: An access point may send a trigger frame, to schedule stations supporting different standards to perform OFDMA uplink transmission, where the stations supporting different standards support different bandwidth sizes. The stations receiving the trigger frame send a trigger-based physical layer protocol data unit (TB PPDU) to the access point, where the TB PPDU includes uplink data of the stations supporting different standards, and the stations of different standards may send the uplink data by using RUs located in bandwidths respectively supported by the stations. Therefore, a channel can be fully utilized to improve frequency domain resource utilization.

    Abstract: A data unit sending or receiving method and a related apparatus that belong to the field of communication technologies are provided. In this solution, a transmit end sends a first aggregated media access control protocol data unit (A-MPDU) and determines an MPDU that needs to be retransmitted in the first A-MPDU. The MPDU that needs to be retransmitted is included in a first A-MPDU subframe in the first A-MPDU. The first A-MPDU subframe includes a first MPDU delimiter, and the first MPDU delimiter includes a first end of frame (EOF) field and a first MPDU length field. The transmit end sends a second A-MPDU, where the second A-MPDU includes a second A-MPDU subframe, the second A-MPDU subframe includes the MPDU that needs to be retransmitted and a second MPDU delimiter, and the second MPDU delimiter includes a second EOF field and a second MPDU length field.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) transmission method and a related apparatus. The method includes: generating a PPDU, where the PPDU includes a universal signal field (U-SIG), and the U-SIG includes a subfield indicating that the PPDU is a null data packet (NDP); and sending the PPDU. In this way, a beamformee (Bfee) that receives the NDP can identify the NDP earlier. This helps improve efficiency of reading the NDP by the Bfee. The PPDU is an NDP used for a standard after 802.11ax. In a scenario in which wireless communication is performed by using the standard (for example, 802.11be) after 802.11ax, the Bfee can perform channel estimation based on the NDP.

    Abstract: The technology of this application relates to methods and apparatuses for sending and receiving a physical layer protocol data unit. The method includes generating a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), where the PPDU includes a short training field, a length of a frequency domain sequence of the short training field is greater than a first length, and the first length is a length, for example, 2048, of a frequency domain sequence of a short training field that is transmitted over a 160 MHz-bandwidth channel. The method further includes sending the PPDU over a target channel, where a bandwidth of the target channel is greater than 160 MHz. According to embodiments of this application, a larger actual channel bandwidth can be achieved, and backward compatibility is implemented.

    Abstract: A data transmission method includes generating a signaling field of a PPDU, where a channel bandwidth for transmitting the PPDU includes at least two frequency segments, which include a first frequency segment, and the channel bandwidth includes an RU for MU-MIMO transmission; the signaling field includes a common field and a user-specific field, the user-specific field includes a user field corresponding to the RU, and the user field is a user field of a station to which the RU is allocated and that parks on the first frequency segment; and the common field includes a resource unit allocation subfield corresponding to the RU, indicating the RU and a quantity of user fields corresponding to the RU; and sending the signaling field on the first frequency segment. Some embodiments are applied to a WLAN system that supports 802.11be standard.
