Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for coding a scalable video in a multilayer structure, and a method for encoding a video according to the present invention comprises the steps of: decoding and saving a picture of a reference layer; inducing an interlayer reference picture which is referenced for predicting a current block of a current layer; producing a reference picture list including the interlayer reference picture and a reference picture of the current layer; conducting a prediction on the current block of the current layer with the reference picture list to induce a prediction sample with respect to the current block; inducing a recovery sample with respect to the current block based on the prediction sample and the prediction block with respect to the current block; and transmitting reference information for indicating a picture that can be used for interlayer prediction from the pictures of the reference layer.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an inter-layer prediction method and to an apparatus implementing the method. The method may comprise the steps of generating a first block constituted by the value obtained by up-sampling the reconstruction value of a reference block of a reference layer corresponding to the current block; generating a second block constituted by a prediction value derived from intra-prediction mode of the current block; and generating a prediction block of the current block by combining sample values of the first block and the second block. Thus, intra-prediction on the current layer can be performed using the intra-prediction mode information of another layer.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for processing a video signal, which can increase the accuracy of the motion vector prediction through motion vector scaling which takes a difference in the temporal distance between reference pictures into consideration. To this end, the present invention provides a video signal processing method and a video signal processing apparatus using the same, and the method comprises the steps of: scaling at least one neighboring partition motion vector for a motion vector prediction of the current partition; scaling the neighboring partition motion vector, which has been selected, when the reference picture of the neighboring partition motion vector is different from the reference picture of the current partition; acquiring a motion vector prediction value of the current partition using the scaled motion vector; and acquiring a motion vector of the current partition using the motion vector prediction value.

Abstract: Disclosed is a video decoding method that decodes a bitstream, the method including receiving a picture parameter set (PPS) comprising at least one of first information indicating whether the same reference picture list is applied to slices comprised in a picture and second information indicating whether additional information on modification of the reference picture list is present, and deriving a construction of the reference picture list based on the PPS. Accordingly, there are provided a method and an apparatus for signaling by a picture whether the construction of the reference picture list is modified when constructing the reference picture list.
