Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting a message in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) enters a proximity of a neighbor cell, detects interference on a frequency, and transmits a message, including information on the interference and an indication of entering the proximity of the neighbor cell, to a base station.
Abstract:
Provided is an access method which is carried out by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: obtaining system information from a target cell; determining whether system information for extended access barring (EAB) has been scheduled to the system information; determining whether EAB information is included in the system information for the EAB, when the system information for the EAB has been scheduled; and determining whether to bar access to the target cell on the basis of the EAB information when the EAB information is included.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting an indicator in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) transmits an indicator to a base station, using at least one of a buffer status report (BSR) media access control (MAC) control element (CE) and a power headroom report (PHR) MAC CE if uplink transmission is not available. The indicator may indicates that there is no data in a buffer of the UE regardless of a current buffer status, or that there is no power headroom regardless of current power headroom status. The indicator may be a new logical channel identifier (LCID) or a new field, which indicates that the UL transmission is not available, in the at least one of the BSR MAC CE and the PHR MAC CE.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method in which a terminal performs a random access procedure comprises the following steps: transmitting a random access preamble to a base station; and receiving, from said base station and as a response to said random access preamble, a random access response message indicated by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) for a cell identifier of said terminal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a wireless communication system. A method for transmitting a power headroom report (PHR) from a terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention may include determining whether a time alignment timer (TAT) for a serving cell is operating; and transmitting, to a base station, a PHR including only the PHR on the serving cell in which the TAT is operating.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, a method and device for performing network connection are disclosed herein. The method of a user equipment for performing network connection in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention may include the steps of receiving information on a network connection for a second type service from a first base station providing a first type service in the user equipment; based upon information on the network connection, deciding whether or not the network connection is permitted and deciding a target of the network connection; and, when the network connection is authorized, transmitting a network connection request message to the target of the network connection.
Abstract:
A method for a base station (BS) operating in a wireless communication system, the method includes transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), first information indicating a threshold value for an uplink data split operation; and receiving a buffer status report (BSR) from the UE, wherein a value of a buffer size in the BSR is determined based on second information that indicates an amount of data available for transmission for a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity of the UE when the amount of the data available for transmission is larger than the threshold value.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for reporting an RLC (Radio Link Control) re-transmission failure in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: communicating with both the first BS and the second BS, wherein the first BS has a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with the UE; and reporting to the first BS, a Radio Link Control (RLC) retransmission error without RRC connection re-establishment for the first BS if the RLC retransmission error occurs in an RLC entity transmitting RLC PDU (Protocol Data Unit) to the second BS.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for transmitting a power headroom reporting in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: generating a PHR MAC CE (Power Headroom Reporting MAC Control Element) to be transmitted to the first BS; and transmitting a power headroom reporting through the PHR MAC CE to the first BS, wherein the PHR MAC CE includes only first PH (Power Headroom) information for activated cells served by the first BS such that second PH information for activated cells served by the second BS is not included.
