    Abstract: A positioning signal processing method at a user equipment includes: operating the user equipment in a discontinuous reception mode including time interleaved ON times of the discontinuous reception mode, during which the user equipment is in an active mode monitoring for a positioning signal measurement trigger signal, and OFF times of the discontinuous reception mode, during which the user equipment is in an inactive mode; receiving a wake-up signal at the user equipment; and determining, at the user equipment, whether to measure a positioning signal based on whether the wake-up signal indicates to implement the active mode during a scheduled discontinuous reception mode ON time or to skip the scheduled discontinuous reception mode ON time.

    Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein enable a base station to configure a CSI-RS resource set with one or more parameters that are linked to one or more parameters of least one of a message that triggers CSI-RS monitoring, a physical channel associated with the CSI-RS monitoring, or an uplink reference signal associated with the CSI-RS monitoring. This allows the one or more parameters of the CSI-RS resource set to be dynamically set and/or adjusted based at least in part on the one or more parameters to which the one or more parameters of the CSI-RS resource set are linked. As a result, scheduling flexibility for beam management, downlink communications, and/or uplink communications may be increased. This may reduce delays and increase network speed, reliability, and/or beam management efficiency. Numerous other aspects are provided.

In an aspect, a base station transmits a first radar reference signal (RRS) on a first set of resources comprising first time resources, first frequency resources, first spatial resources, or any combination thereof, wherein the first set of resources is selected to enable a first user equipment (UE) to perform a first type of environment sensing, and transmits a second RRS on a second set of resources comprising second time resources, second frequency resources, second spatial resources, or any combination thereof, wherein the second set of resources is selected to enable a second UE to perform a second type of environment sensing, wherein the second set of resources is different from the first set of resources, and wherein the second type of environment sensing is different from the first type of environment sensing.

    Abstract: Frequency-dependent changes in beam shapes of transmitted RF signals can be provided to a receiving device. Beam shape information can include, for example, gain of a beam and a plurality of azimuth and elevation directions, boresight and width of a main lobe (and optionally side lobes) of the beam, information regarding a pattern of antenna elements of an antenna panel used to transmit the beam, and/or similar information. The type of information provided can dictate the amount of overhead required, and we therefore vary depending on the means by which the information is conveyed. Additional detail is provided in the embodiments described herein.
