    Abstract: A tracking-distance-measuring system capable of tracking a torso object is provided. The tracking-distance-measuring system includes: an image sensor, a controller, a distance-measuring device, and an actuator device. The image sensor is configured to capture an input image. The controller is configured to analyze the input image to recognize a torso object from the input image, and calculate an offset distance between a center of the torso object and a central axis of the input image. The actuator device is configured to carry the distance-measuring device. The controller controls the actuator device to calibrate an offset angle between the distance-measuring device and the recognized torso object according to the offset distance. In response to calibrating the offset angle, the distance-measuring device emits energy and receives reflected energy to detect an object distance of the torso object.

    Abstract: A protective device for a cable in the form of a plurality of interconnected links forming a chain. At least one of the links comprises a retaining element, which may be a C-shaped or an L-shaped element which completes the formation of an enclosed void into which a cable can be inserted for protection. Each link preferably includes two opposed sidewalls connected by a bottom wall and the C-shaped or L-shaped element. When the retaining member is the L-shaped element, the L-shaped element is hingedly connected to one of the opposed sidewalls.

    Abstract: A cloud service system includes a hardware resource, a storage device, and a controller. The hardware resource is installed with a system, and a software container is instantiated for cloud service execution on the hardware resource. The storage device stores a plurality of libraries, each of which is associated with a respective version of the system. The controller determines a first version of the system according to a deployment request, determines whether one of the libraries is associated with the first version, and selects one of the libraries for instantiating the software container according to a selection history of the libraries in response to none of the libraries being associated with the first version.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a partition in a chassis, which can transition between at least two positions to receive more than one configuration of modules. The partition can include a first end and a second end, each of which has resting positions adjacent to the chassis body. The partition can further include a middle portion, which is in a raised position above the floor of the chassis body, but can bend flexibly towards the floor. In a first configuration of the chassis, a single, larger module can slide over the partition. In a second configuration of the chassis, two smaller modules can slide into adjacent positions in the chassis body, separated by the partition.
