摘要： An aggregation roller for extending a conductor over a span for electrical distribution. The aggregation roller is useful providing safety for linemen, adaptability to new technologies for conductors, low friction to easily pull the conductors and durability. The device has a canister for storage of the rope cartridge, a resealable lid with a grommet for passing the rope through the lid, and a replaceable cutting mechanism for cutting the rope. 摘要： What is disclosed is an attachment for a portable media device that case that is configured for attachment to a flexible strap. An end of the flexible strap is configured to slide along the attachment in a track to form an adjustable loop. A plurality of straps can be provided to allow a user to vary the color and/or shape of the strap. What is further disclosed is a portable media case having the track integral with the case. The case is configured to provide protection to a mobile device, including but not limited to a mobile phone. The case with flexible strap forming a loop provides a mechanism to secure a mobile device in the hand of a user or to mount the device. Alternatively the attachment can be formed as an insert into an opening in a case such that the insert and strap are removable from the case.

摘要： A magnetic bearing retains a rotatable shaft in a selected position by magnetic coupling between a circular magnet and one or more magnet arrays. Each magnetic coupling completes a magnetic circuit. The magnet arrays focus magnetic flux towards the circular magnet to facilitate magnetic coupling. Magnet arrays configured in Halbach series may be employed. Magnet arrays configured as electromagnets may also be employed. The shaft may be attached either to the circular magnet or the magnet arrays. Shaft rotation does not affect the magnetic circuit, but axial displacement of the shaft disrupts the magnetic circuit and increases magnetic reluctance. Increasing magnetic reluctance inhibits axial displacement. The shaft thereby supports a load while rotating freely, constrained to a selected position by forces of magnetic reluctance. A centering bearing may be employed to maintain gap distance between circular magnet and one or more magnet arrays.

摘要： A flat plate heating solar panel comprised of polymer materials that can withstand relatively high temperatures. The polymer materials utilized in the panel have similar thermal expansion characteristics so that different components can by connected to each other without excessive stresses and damage during temperature changes, and with major components capable of being fabricated by molding processes, including extrusion and injection molding. An expansion joint or slot is provided in the enclosure frame to allow relative movement between the header connector and the frame in order to minimize stresses when large temperature differences exist between the absorber/header and the frame, and the slot design also provides a vent to relieve excessive air pressures inside the panel at high temperatures. An electronic controller with wireless capability, powered by a small photovoltaic solar cell with energy storage by a supercapacitor or an ultracapacitor, is integrated with the panel to operate a pump to circulate a heat transfer fluid through the panel when heating capability exists and when heat is needed to increase the temperature of the substance to be heated by the panel.

摘要： A protective hand guard for use on a vehicle with handlebars. The disclosed protective hand guard is attached at one end to the end of the handlebars and at another end to a clamping structure. The attachment to the clamping structure, which is on the inside end of the handlebars is by a cable which allows some movement when placed under pressure. The cable can be a steel cable, a pair of steel cables or other structures which are generally rigid but provide a small amount of flexion. The outer end of the hand guard can be attached to the outer tip of the handlebar in a rotating mount.
