摘要: A portable efficient heater management system includes an external heat source, a circulation pump that provides the circulation of the water taken from the external heat source, a heat sensor measuring the temperature of the water coming from the heat source, water transfer pipes, a two-section heat exchanger in which the waters in them do not mix with each other, but heat transfer can be made, a pressure gauge, a processor, a heat sensor placed on a generator, a generator circulation pump, a three-way valve. It also provides the engine blocks of diesel-powered generators to be heated with the heat obtained from an external heat source, as long as the heat in the external source is sufficient.

摘要: A vehicle has a front grille, engine, engine compartment, power storage device, temperature sensor, shutter, heater and controller. The device can be electrically charged from an external power supply. The temperature sensor detects engine coolant temperature. The shutter is disposed in a transfer pathway of air drawn into the engine compartment via the front grille, and is switched between closed and open states. The heater is able to generate heat when receiving the electric power, raising the coolant temperature. The controller starts the engine when the coolant temperature is lower than a startup threshold value, drives the heater when the coolant temperature is lower than a first threshold value equal to or higher than the startup threshold value, until the coolant temperature becomes equal to or higher than the first threshold value, and drives the shutter to place the shutter in the closed state while the heater is driven.

摘要: A warm-up device is provided in a cooling-water circuit, through which cooling water is circulated so as to pass through an engine. The warm-up device has a heat accumulating passage, in which a heat accumulating device is provided, and an accumulating-device bypassing passage bypassing the heat accumulating device. A waste-heat collecting device is provided in the cooling-water circuit so that heat is collected from exhaust gas from the engine and such collected heat is accumulated in the heat accumulating device. The cooling water is circulated through the heat accumulating device during a start-up operation of the engine in order to heat the cooling water flowing into the engine so as to quickly warm up the engine.

The outside source can be a second vehicle equipped with a fitting or a standalone heater. Fluid transfer hoses are connected to each fitting to exchange coolant between vehicles.
