Abstract:
A deceleration control apparatus for a vehicle including a controller that performs deceleration control based on a first target deceleration set based on a distance to a starting point of an upcoming curve, when the deceleration control for the curve is started at a position distant from the starting point of the curve; and that performs the deceleration control based on a second target deceleration set based on a lateral acceleration that is estimated to be detected when the vehicle passes the starting point of the curve, when the deceleration control for the curve is started at a position close to the starting point of the curve. With this apparatus, it is possible to perform the deceleration control that provides drive assist according to the intention of the driver and that enhances driving convenience for the driver.

Abstract:
A parking assist apparatus performs a guidance of a vehicle toward a target parking position, even after the guidance has been canceled. The target parking position is set in accordance with an operation applied to a target parking position designation display that is displayed on a screen showing a periphery of the vehicle. It is determined whether a cancellation condition of canceling the guidance of the vehicle toward the target parking position is established. A memory continuously holds target parking position information even after the cancellation condition is established.
Abstract:
A driving assist apparatus for a vehicle that guides the vehicle to a target position is provided. On the basis of the present direction of the vehicle and the direction of the vehicle at the target position, a basic path that changes the vehicle direction so as to coincide with the target direction of the vehicle at the target position is computed. A path from the present position to the target position is computed by adding a straight-line path to the basic path under a predetermined condition.
Abstract:
A disc drive apparatus has a fixed unit and a collapsible unit which is supported to be expansible and contractible to the fixed unit. A disc drive section is arranged on the fixed unit. The collapsible unit is driven by an expansion/contraction mechanism to expand and contract relative to the fixed unit. An outer housing is fixed to the fixed unit. The outer housing covers the fixed unit and the collapsible unit moved to the contracted position, and has a window capable of passing the collapsible unit. The collapsible unit includes an outer surface exposed to the outside of the outer housing when moved to the expanded position, and an operation panel for setting operation states, which is provided on the outer surface of the collapsible unit and operable from the outside of the outer housing.
Abstract:
A remaining-power-amount recognizing circuit 20 provided within a capsule endoscope 2 recognizes a remaining power amount of a body-insertable apparatus (capsule endoscope 2), and superimposes information of the remaining power amount on a transmission signal. An RF transmitting unit 15 of the capsule endoscope 2 transmits the superimposed information to a receiving apparatus 3 at the outside of the subject. A remaining-power-amount detecting circuit 48 provided within an external device 32 of the receiving apparatus 3 detects the information of the remaining power amount, and displays the detected information on a display unit 51 provided within the external device 32. With this arrangement, a user can promptly recognize a remaining power amount of the capsule endoscope 2.
Abstract:
The apparatus comprises a containing portion in which an object to be sterilized such as medical treatment tools is accommodated for sterilization; and a sterilizing superheated steam generating and supplying portion provided adjacent to the containing portion comprising a saturated steam generating portion for generating a saturated steam at 80 to 100 degrees centigrade from water, a sterilizing superheated steam generating portion for generating therein a sterilizing superheated steam at 120 to 300 degrees centigrade by colliding the saturated steam generated from the saturated steam generating portion with a heated superheating medium at a predetermined flow rate; and a sterilizing superheated steam supplying portion for feeding the sterilizing superheated steam into the containing portion, thereby forming in the inner of the containing portion heated low-oxygen environmental condition equal to or less than 3% oxygen concentration suitable for sterilizing attached bacteria, at 120 to 150 degrees centigrade under normal pressure.
Abstract:
An imaging apparatus for imaging an image using a solid-state image pickup device includes a first linear matrix operation unit configured to perform matrix conversion upon a color component of an image signal obtained by imaging using coefficients capable of improving color reproducibility; a second linear matrix operation unit configured to perform matrix conversion upon the color component using coefficients capable of achieving noise component reduction; a signal combining unit configured to combine image signals output from a plurality of signal processing systems each of which includes one of the first or second linear matrix operation units; and a combination ratio setting unit configured to set a combination ratio so that, when a subject is bright, an image signal output from the signal processing system that includes the first linear matrix operation unit can be combined in an amount larger than the image signals output from the other signal processing systems.
Abstract:
During wireless data communication with a digital camera, when a setting operation of communication parameters is designated by a communication setting button, the data communication with the camera is suspended, and the network is switched to a network for setting communication parameters for another camera. With this network, a setting operation of communication parameters for another camera is performed. Thereafter, the network for setting communication parameters is switched to the network for data communication with the original camera.
Abstract:
An image processing device includes a correlation value calculating unit calculating plural correlation values indicating degrees of correlation of an image for a pixel of attention to be interpolated on a solid-state imaging device having filters of predetermined color coding; a judging unit judging a direction in which interpolation should be performed by calculating, in different directions, at least two patterns of the plural correlation values calculated by the correlation value calculating unit and comparing the correlation values of at least two patterns with correlation lines obtained by plotting the correlation values with respect to straight lines of various angles; and an interpolating unit applying interpolation processing to the pixel of attention on the basis of information on pixels around the pixel of attention present in the direction judged by the judging unit.
