Abstract:
A method for exchange of data between a mobile communications unit carried by a user and at least one of a first communications unit, a second communications unit and a computer unit positioned at different locations in an environment such as a building. When the first communications unit and the mobile communications unit are spaced at a predetermined distance, a near-field radio connection is generated within this distance. After data exchange between the mobile communications unit and the first communications unit, the data are communicated by the first communications unit to the computer unit. When the second communications unit and the mobile communications unit are spaced from one another at the predetermined distance, a near-field radio connection is generated within this distance. A data exchange takes place between the mobile communications unit and the second communications unit by the near-field radio connection.
Abstract:
A method of guiding a user in an environment particularly in a building, utilizes at least one first communications unit communicating data to a mobile second communications unit carried by the user. The first communications unit transmits a contact signal within a predetermined range for establishing contact with the second communications unit. If the second communications unit is located within the range and receives the contact signal, contact is established between the first communications and the second communications unit. In order to enable guidance of the user through the environment by means of the second communications unit, data are communicated from the first communications unit to the second communications unit.
Abstract:
A method of controlling access to an area accessible by persons, particularly to a space closed by a door, utilizes a first mobile communications unit on which at least one access code is filed and a receiver unit for receiving the access code. In a first variant of the method, when an activation signal is transmitted by the communications unit within a predetermined range of the receiver unit, the receiver unit is activated and the access code is transmitted from the communications unit to the receiver unit. After a successful check of the access code by the receiver unit the access is freed. In a second variant, when the activation signal is transmitted by the receiver unit within a predetermined range of the communications unit, the receiver unit is activated. The access code is subsequently transmitted from the communications unit to the receiver unit and after a successful check of the access code by the receiver unit the access is freed.
Abstract:
A reflector mounted in an elevator shaft and having coded symbols in two tracks in the region of a stopping floor is read by detectors on the car for bridging door contacts when the car is in the arrival region and the resetting region of the stopping floor. The symbols are detected and evaluated by a two-channel evaluating circuit having optical transmitters for illuminating the tracks and charge-coupled device sensors for detecting the reflected images. A pattern recognition logic system and computers for each channel recognize patterns in the images for generating car position and speed information and for actuating relays to bridge the door contacts.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a sliding door system determines the masses and the frictional forces of all movably interconnected parts of the sliding door system. The system has a door leaf which is moved in an opening learning travel and a closing learning travel and guided without drive over respective first and second test sections. First and second energy balances are determined from the detected speed and distance travelled data of the first and second test sections respectively. The energy balances equate the kinetic energy at the beginning of a test section with the kinetic energy at the end of the test section plus the frictional energy plus the potential energy of a closing weight connected to the door leaf. The potential energy is added with a positive sign for opening travel and a negative sign for closing travel. The dynamic mass and the mean frictional force of the sliding door system can then be determined from the first and second energy balances. An apparatus for controlling the door motor in accordance with the method includes a microprocessor in a door drive with a memory for storing the speeds and distances associated with the learning travels. The microprocessor and the tachometer detect, store and process the speed and distance data, and the microprocessor determines the values for the dynamic mass and the mean frictional force and also the closing speed, which is the maximum permissible for safe operation of the door.
Abstract:
A method is provided for switching at least one electrical consumer (1, 1′ 1″) in a building comprising an elevator system. The switched electrical consumer (1″) is, for example, a camera. The camera is activated if when using the elevator system the user does not actuate a building door within an ascertained route time, i.e. the user does not arrive at his/her destination. It is possible using an image recorded by the camera to establish whether the user is possibly in a dangerous situation.
Abstract:
A person is detected before entering an elevator in a building, and a destination floor desired by the person is detected. When the person leaves the elevator, the floor on which the person leaves the elevator is detected using a further detecting device. An action is triggered if the floor on which the person leaves the elevator and the destination floor do not match.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of operating an elevator system in a building with at least one building door (2, 2′, 2″). Through opening and/or closing the building door (2, 2′, 2″) the floor (1, 1′, 1″) of the opened and/or closed building door (2, 2′, 2″) is defined as the start floor and a destination call for an elevator car (7) to the start floor is actuated. As soon as the elevator cage (7) has reached the start floor, an elevator door (3, 3′, 3″) of the start floor is opened. As soon as at least one user has entered the elevator car (7), the opened elevator door (3, 3′, 3″) is closed and the user is conveyed by the elevator car (7) to a destination floor, wherein the destination floor is defined by a destination call stored for a start floor.
Abstract:
A method of controlling a lift installation with at least one lift car, at least one lift control and at least one mobile apparatus, and a control system for a controlling a lift installation. A reporting device near the lift installation receives at least one activation signal from a transmitting/receiving device of a mobile apparatus. The reporting device activates in response to the received activation signal. At least one network address of a recognition device of a lift control of the lift installation is transmitted from the activated reporting device to the transmitting/receiving device of the mobile apparatus.
Abstract:
A method of controlling access to an area accessible by persons, particularly to a space closed by a door, includes providing a first mobile communications unit on which at least one access code is filed, at least one second mobile communications unit and a receiver unit for receiving the access code. The access code is transmitted by the first communications unit to the second communications unit. The access code is transmitted to the receiver unit by this second communications unit. After a successful checking of the access code by the receiver unit the door access is freed.
