Abstract: According to an aspect of an embodiment, a method may include obtaining a first digital image via a mapping application. The method may also include obtaining a second digital image via the mapping application. The method may additionally include determining a displacement factor between the first digital image and the second digital image. Further, the method may include generating a third digital image by cropping the second digital image based on the displacement factor, adjusting an aspect ratio of the third digital image, and resizing the third digital image. Moreover, the method may include generating a stereoscopic map image of the setting that includes a first-eye image and a second eye image. The first-eye image may be based on the first digital image and the second-eye image may be based on the third digital image.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for rendering 3D images or video without significantly losing resolution or increasing the resolution. The systems and methods for 3D rendering technology can work with different types of 3D data frames that include left eye image and right eye image sub-frames. The 3D data frames render 3D imagery with side-by-side (SXS), top-and-bottom (TB), and frame packing (FP), as well as others such as full high definition 3D (FHD3D), frame sequential 3D, passive 3D rendering or the like. System and methods are provided for creating inverse pixel strips, and preparing 3D images that include the inverse pixel strips. Systems and methods are provided for expanding images in a plane without significant loss of resolution.

Abstract: A method of generating a stereoscopic video may include determining movement between a first frame of a monoscopic video and a second frame of the monoscopic video. The method may further include analyzing a camera effect based on the movement. Additionally, the method may include generating a left-eye viewing frame of a stereoscopic video based on the camera effect analysis and generating a right-eye viewing frame of the stereoscopic video based on the camera effect analysis.

Abstract: One or more stereoscopic images are generated based on a single monoscopic image that may be obtained from a camera sensor. Each stereoscopic image includes a first digital image and a second digital image that, when viewed using any suitable stereoscopic viewing technique, result in a user or software program receiving a three-dimensional effect with respect to the elements included in the stereoscopic images. The monoscopic image may depict a geographic setting of a particular geographic location and the resulting stereoscopic image may provide a three-dimensional (3D) rendering of the geographic setting. Use of the stereoscopic image helps a system obtain more accurate detection and ranging capabilities. The stereoscopic image may be any configuration of the first digital image (monoscopic) and the second digital image (monoscopic) that together may generate a 3D effect as perceived by a viewer or software program.

Abstract: A method of adjusting depth in a stereoscopic video may include generating a left-eye viewing frame of a stereoscopic video. The left-eye viewing frame may include a plurality of left-eye viewing frame elements. The method may also include generating a right-eye viewing frame of the stereoscopic video. The right-eye viewing frame may correspond to the left-eye viewing frame and may include a plurality of right-eye viewing frame elements. Further, each right-eye viewing frame element may correspond to one of the left-eye viewing frame elements. The method may additionally include determining an offset between each right-eye viewing frame element and its corresponding left-eye viewing frame element. Further, the method may include applying a uniform multiplying factor to each offset such that a perceived depth associated with the stereoscopic video is adjusted on a substantially uniform scale.
