Abstract:
A locking structure of a steering column. A main housing is provided around a steering shaft and fixed to a car body. An insert pipe protrudes from the main housing. A sliding housing has an arc portion surrounding the insert pipe, a tightening block at each end, and a variable inner cross-section that changes with distance between the tightening blocks. An upper housing is tiltable relative to the sliding housing. A tilt plate is fixed to the upper housing, extends to the tightening block, and has an arc-shaped slot corresponding to a rotation distance of the tilt plate. A locking bolt passes through the arc-shaped slot of the tilt plate and through the tightening blocks. An operation lever is rotatably fitted on the locking bolt. A cam assembly variably applies a force to the tilt plates and the tightening blocks according to a rotation distance of the operation lever.

Abstract:
There are provided a method and system for monitoring an optical transmission line. The system for monitoring the optical transmission line includes: an OTDR (optical time-domain reflectometer) transmitting a monitoring light to an optical transmission line, measuring a reflected light or backscattered light to monitor the optical transmission line; an optical amplification unit amplifying the monitoring light transmitted on the optical transmission line by using a gain clamped optical amplifier; and a filter unit removing a component having a wavelength outside a wavelength band of the monitoring light from a backward ASE (amplified spontaneous emission) generated by the optical amplification unit. Accordingly, it is possible to extend an optical transmission line monitoring distance of the OTDR. As a result, it is possible to prevent deterioration of the performance of the OTDR because of the backward ASE.
Abstract:
A system-on-chip is provided which includes a data producer; a FIFO buffer which stores data transferred from the data producer at a memory area corresponding to a write pointer; a first consumer which pops data of a memory area corresponding to a first read pointer of the FIFO buffer out; and a second consumer which pops data of a memory area corresponding to a second read pointer of the FIFO buffer out. The FIFO buffer requests a pop-out operation at the second consumer according to the difference between the write pointer and the first read pointer or overwrites data provided from the data producer at a memory area corresponding to the second read pointer.

Abstract:
Provided are an RFID reader and a method for suppressing transmission leakage signals thereof. The RFID reader includes a first loop, a second loop, and a digital signal processor. The first loop suppresses a first transmission leakage signal of an RX signal in response to a first leakage control signal. The second loop suppresses a second transmission leakage signal of the RX signal, received through the first loop, in response to a second leakage control signal. The digital signal processor generates the first leakage control signal and the second leakage control signal. The digital signal processor generates the first leakage control signal until the level of the first transmission leakage signal becomes equal to or lower than the level of a first reference transmission leakage signal.

Abstract:
The present invention is to provide an optical fiber amplifier for clamping and equalizing gain in optical communication systems comprising: a gain clamping amplifier unit for clamping the gain, so as to make input signals have the same output power for each channel by applying a compensating signal; a second isolator for passing the input signal light from said gain clamping amplifier unit and isolating the light coming from the opposite direction; a gain equalizing filter for equalizing the output gain spectrum from the input signal from said second isolator; and a post-amplifier unit for amplifying the signal from said gain equalizing filter. Thus, the optical fiber amplifier is capable of clamping gain automatically by maintaining the same population inversion, and capable of maintaining the same gain equalization for the wide signal gain band to achieve the high transmission capacity, in cases that the number of channel varies in the input signal, while providing a high output signal power.
