    摘要: An oil ring lubricated split bearing housing includes upper and lower bearing housing halves having mating seat surfaces for a bearing which is adapted to support a shaft, an oil reservoir space in the lower housing half, an oil pick up ring partly immersed in the oil reservoir space and rotatable to transfer oil from space to the bearing, an inner labyrinth sealing sleeve fixedly fitted around the shaft and having a circumferential axial groove facing away from the bearing, and an outer labyrinth sealing part with a portion projecting axially into the axial groove thereby forming a labyrinth seal. Both bearing housing halves have gable openings closely fitting around the sleeve. The outer labyrinth sealing part being in the form of a ring having an axially projecting portion entering in the axial groove and another portion retained in a radial, circumferential groove in the upper bearing housing half.

    摘要: An absorbent cellulose material is disclosed which comprises a substituted cellulose having an average degree of substitution sufficiently low to render the material insoluble and in which the fibers have an increased surface area formed by bursting the fibers during drying. In addition, a method of manufacturing such absorbent material is also disclosed which comprises providing an insoluble substituted cellulose material having an average degree of substitution sufficiently low to render the material insoluble, swelling the material to its maximum swelled state, fixing the material in that state, and drying the material while maintaining the material in its swelled state to thereby prevent shrinkage of the material during drying and to cause the fibers to burst during drying.

    摘要: A device for mounting an electrochemical sensor unit to a skin surface of a human being comprises a mounting member having a circumferential wall, an adhesive tape at a lower end of the circumferential wall for adhering the mounting member to the skin surface, and a sealing member. The sealing member provides a liquid tight seal between a lumen or measuring chamber defined between the skin surface, the mounting device and the sensor unit, the measuring chamber being normally filled with a contact liquid. Alternatively, the sealing member is provided on the sensor unit. The provision of the sealing member renders the system less vulnerable to force impacts and reduces the risk of flawed measurements due to atmospheric air in the measuring chamber. The electrochemical sensor unit may e.g. be suitable for transcutaneous measurement of partial carbon dioxide pressure (pCO2) or partial oxygen pressure (pO2).

The connecting device further includes a pyrotechnical charge and an igniter. The igniter detonates the pyrotechnical charge upon receipt of an ignition signal. The pyrotechnical charge is located near the bolt joint system such that, upon detonation, it destroys the connecting function of the bolt joint system and thereby releases the structural member from the chassis.
