Abstract:
A portable telephone having a cover (14) rotatably mounted to a cover body (2). When the cover (14) is in a closed condition, it covers and protects a switch section of the body (2), while when the cover (14) is in an open condition, it is held in a stable position at a predetermined inclined angle with respect to the body (2) by a cover holding mechanism. When the cover (14) is in the open condition, it also functions as a voice reflecting and collecting board for a microphone provided in the body (2).
Abstract:
A lock-releasing apparatus for use in a telepone set, having a lock-releasing button (61) for a locking mechanism which locks a handset (41) stationarily to a cradle (42). The lock releasing button also actuates a muting switch (71).
Abstract:
There is provided a communication device that includes a first housing with a rail and a slider, the rail and the slider being capable of engaging with each other, and a second housing including a hook which engages with the slider to combine the first and the second housings each other when the first housing is slid above the second housing along a first direction, the hook being disengaged with the slider to release the first housing from the second housing according to an operation including a motion in which the first housing is slid above the second housing along a second direction different from the first direction.
Abstract:
A second enclosure defines the backside superposed on a first enclosure for relative rotation around a rotation axis set perpendicular to the front surface of the first enclosure in an electronic apparatus. First, second and third flat surfaces are defined on the backside of the second enclosure at positions inside the contour of the second enclosure. The receiving pieces receive the first flat surface when the second enclosure is set in the reference attitude. When the second enclosure is set in the lateral attitude by rotation by plus or minus 90 degrees, the second flat surface or the third flat surface is received on the receiving pieces behind the second enclosure. Even if friction resulting from the contact roughens the first, second and third surfaces, the asperity and scratches on the surfaces are hidden behind the second enclosure.
Abstract:
A vehicle wheel includes: a disk and a rim having a well portion and fixed to the disk for supporting a tire for the vehicle; and an additional air chamber member secured to an outer circumferential surface of the well portion in a tire air chamber defined between the rim and the tire. The additional air chamber includes a communication pipe with a communication through hole therein for communication between the additional air chamber and the tire air chamber. The additional air chamber has a peak in a radial direction of the vehicle wheel. A radius D2 of rotation of the vehicle wheel at the tip of the communication through hole is equal to or greater than a radius D1 of rotation of the vehicle at the peak of the additional air chamber.
Abstract:
A vehicle wheel which includes an additional air chamber member forming an additional air chamber in a tire air chamber. The additional air chamber member is fixed on an outer circumferential surface of a well portion of a rim. The additional air chamber member is provided with a communication hole communicating between the additional air chamber and the tire air chamber. The communication hole is disposed at a position shifted from a discharge port of an air valve for supplying air in the tire air chamber in a wheel circumferential direction and opened to the tire air chamber.
Abstract:
A mobile radio communication apparatus includes a first housing including an input part, a second housing including a speaker and a display, a hinge part that connects the second housing to the first housing so that the second housing can be folded over the first housing, an opening mechanism that automatically opens the second housing from a folded state to a first angle between 160° and 170° relative to the first housing in a non-stop motion, a damper mechanism that brakes opening of the second housing by the one touch opening mechanism, and a free stop mechanism that maintains the second housing relative to the first housing at a second angle.
Abstract:
A support shaft is received in a socket for relative rotation. A first hollow space penetrates through the support shaft. A first hollow member extends in a first direction from the tip end of the support shaft. The first hollow member defines a second hollow space extending in the first direction. The second hollow space receives a rotation shaft. A second hollow member extends in a second direction opposite to the first direction from the tip end of the support shaft. The second hollow member defines a third hollow space extending in the second direction from the tip end of the first hollow space. The electronic apparatus allows penetration of the wire through the first and third hollow spaces. No additional space is required around the second hollow member for locating the wire. The electronic apparatus is thus allowed to enjoy a reduced size or volume.
Abstract:
A sensor unit includes a sensor body consisting of a detecting part which detects an inside pressure of a tire, and a transmitting part which transmits a pressure signal detected by the detecting part, and a base member which holds the sensor body. The base member is fixed to a wheel through a heat curable adhesive layer.
