摘要： A vehicle-mounted telephone or similar small-sized equipment having a handset with a liquid crystal display (LCD) and a cradle for holding the handset in place. Sensor is built in at least one of the handset and cradle to determine whether or not the handset is present on the cradle. In response to a sense output of the sensor, a controller varies drive voltage which is applied to an LCD driver and thereby varies the visual angle of the LCD automatically. The drive voltage selectively has a first value associated with a first visual angle which occurs when the handset is mounted on the cradle and a second value associated with a second visual angle which occurs when the handset is removed from the cradle. The controller further controls the drive voltage in such a manner as to selectively apply drive voltage associated with any of a desired number of visual angles to the LCD driver. An implementation is provided for allowing a person to manually change the drive voltage in a stepless or analog fashion as desired.

摘要： A telephone instrument has a rectangular recess (3) along one side of the body which receives the handset. The handset has a recess which fits over a locating member (2) when on-hook. The hook switch contacts (6) are controlled by a pivoted member (4), which acts on the end of a plunger (7) to control the hook-switch contacts. The plunger (7) is spring-urged to its off-hook condition, i.e. when the handset is not in the recess.

摘要： A telephone stand has a housing with a cradle in its top for a handset adapted when placed in the cradle to depress a pair of laterally spaced plungers passing through holes in the housing down into its interior. A line switch is disposed in the housing below and laterally between the plungers. The plungers are coupled to the switch by a Y-shaped piston comprising a crosshead spanning the lateral spacing between the plungers, a pair of tines projecting upwards from laterally opposite ends of the crosshead and having vertical bores therein in which lower portions of the plungers are received, and a laterally central stem extending down from the crosshead and having camming surfaces thereon adapted upon downward displacement of the piston (by downward driving of either of both of the plungers) to wedgingly displace resilient blades in the switch to change switch conditions thereof. A spring passes up through a hollow in the stem to urge the piston upwards and impart to it a floating support which is stabilized by the plunger portions in the tine bores. The tines have upwardly and outwardly facing "L" shaped notches formed in their upper ends to prevent jamming of the downward displacement of the piston when only one of the plungers is driven down.

摘要： The invention relates to a compact, mechanically operated switch which is especially suitable for use in a telephone set having a loudspeaker receiving function. The switch includes a housing and, disposed therein, a first and a second rotor for opening and closing cooperable contacts and a third rotor for restricting the rotation of the second rotor under a certain condition. All the rotors are disposed in axial alignment with each other. The first and second rotors are urged to rotate in one direction while the third rotor is urged to rotate in the other direction by the action of a force greater than that urging the second rotor to rotate in the one direction. A pushbutton is disposed between the first and second rotors and acts, when depressed, to forcedly rotate them in the other direction so as to establish a loudspeaker receiving circuit. A lock pin cooperates with the pushbutton to lock it in a depressed position. The third rotor includes a lever operatively associated with a handset and having a cam portion which acts to move the lock pin in a manner to unlock the pushbutton when the handset is lifted.

摘要： A cradle switch, which is used with a telephone apparatus having a housing with an opening and a cradle adjacent the opening, characterized by a housing having contact assemblies, an actuating lever pivotally connected onto the housing and a switch member pivotally connected to the actuating lever and extending through the opening and into the cradle of the apparatus. The pivotal connection is releasable and allows both axial and pivotal displacement and thus makes a separate step of capturing the switch member or plunger on a housing of a telephone superfluous.

摘要： A pivoval switch mechanism usable as the hookswitch of a telephone instrument. The switch mechanism includes a transverse camshaft supported between actuating arms of an actuating lever. The camshaft carries a plurality of transversely spaced contact spring operating cams, each cam positioned between respective contact springs of a spring pair. The camshaft is journaled adjacent its transverse ends within bearing openings of an enclosing housing, the housing enclosing the camshaft, cams and contact springs. The contact springs are leaf springs resting in two parallel arrays of slots in the housing, the springs being identical. The spings each have an angled ridge contactor positioned to engage a ridge on a like spring member spaced therefrom.

摘要： A telephone hook switch having bounce contact spring which is formed like a frame with middle spring blades arched outwardly in opposite directions and attached at their lower ends with the attached lower ends held in a bearing slot of an operation part which connects to a switching balance. The operation part has a slot one one end for bearing onto the bounce contact spring. Several bounce contact springs and the associated outer springs may be combined like a comb over a stamped strip to be cut off after assembling.
