Abstract: Methods and systems for intelligent notification management using gaze tracking are disclosed. The method comprises receiving a user's point of gaze (POG) from a gaze tracking device that monitors the user's eye movement and direction. It also obtains the spatial position of a notification displayed on an electronic device within a particular space. If the user's POG remains within a boundary defined by the spatial position of the notification for a predetermined period of time, a signal is sent to the electronic device indicating that the user has viewed the notification. The notification is then labeled as having been viewed. The various embodiments described herein enhance user-device interaction, ensure efficient delivery of notifications, and facilitate a streamlined user experience by ensuring that users do not miss important notifications and by enabling seamless interaction across devices.

Abstract: An example energy efficiency management method includes detecting a type of sensitivity to a performance requirement of a service running in a device, selecting a part of a plurality of running parameters of the device based on the type of sensitivity, where the selected running parameter is a running parameter with low relevance to the type of sensitivity of the service, and then adjusting the selected part of the plurality of running parameters or an associated parameter associated with the selected part of the plurality of running parameters so that a corresponding resource that is in the device and that is occupied by the service is reduced. Power consumption of the device after the adjustment is lower than power consumption of the device before the adjustment.

The D2D transmission is performed by the station on the resource unit indicated by the resource allocation information.

Abstract: For picture decoding and encoding of neural-network-based bitstreams, a picture is represented by an input set of samples which is obtained from the bitstream. The picture is reconstructed from output subsets, which are generated as a result of processing the input set L. The input set is divided into multiple input subsets Li. The input subsets are each subject to processing with a neural network having one or more layers. The neural network uses as input multiple samples of an input subset and generates one sample of an output subset. By combining the output subsets, the picture is reconstructed. In particular, the size of at least one input subset is smaller than a size that is required to obtain the size of the respective output subset, after processing by the one or more layers of the neural network.

Abstract: A data management apparatus, a data management method, and a data storage device are provided. The data management apparatus includes a management unit and a data migration unit. The management unit manages data transmission channels between two types of storage media with different transmission performance. Then, the data migration unit migrates data between the two types of storage media through the managed data transmission channels. In this way, the data management apparatus can directly migrate data between storage media with different transmission performance, and a CPU in a system does not need to perform processing such as instruction conversion and protocol conversion, so that a delay of performing the foregoing processing by the CPU can be shortened. In addition, because the CPU does not need to perform data migration, resource overheads of the CPU can be reduced.

Abstract: A hinge mechanism and a foldable electronic device are provided. The hinge mechanism is disposed in a foldable electronic device.
