Abstract:
The present application relates to a polycondensate that can be obtained by reaction: of polyol containing 3 to 6 hydroxyl groups; of non-aromatic, saturated or unsaturated mono-carboxylic acid; of aromatic monocarboxylic acid containing 7 to 11 carbon atoms; and of polycarboxylic acid, saturated or unsaturated, or even aromatic, linear, branched and/or cyclic, containing at least 2 carboxyl groups COOH; and/or a cyclic anhydride of such a polycarboxylic acid. The application also relates to a method of cosmetic treatment employing said composition, the polycondensate thus defined and a method of preparation of the polycondensate.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a cosmetic composition for making up the skin, the lips, the eyelashes or the nails, comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, a liquid fatty phase and a liposoluble modified cellulose or cellulose derivative, the said modified cellulose or the said modified cellulose derivative comprising free hydroxyl functions totally or partially replaced with hydrophobic groups chosen from the radicals of formula —OYR, in which: R represents a group chosen from: A) hydrocarbon-based groups containing linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated chains, or saturated or unsaturated rings, containing from 8 to 50 carbon atoms for the modified cellulose or from 4 to 50 carbon atoms for the modified cellulose derivative, the said groups possibly comprising in their chains one or more aromatic groups and/or one or more hetero atoms chosen from O, N, P, Si and S; the said groups possibly being fluorinated or perfluorinated; B) groups of polymeric nature chosen from polyolefins, hydrogenated or non-hydrogenated polydienes and lipophilic polycondensates, and mixtures thereof, Y represents a single bond or a divalent bonding group.
Abstract:
Composition containing, in a cosmetically or dermatologically acceptable medium, a compound that may be obtained by reaction between: an oil bearing at least one nucleophilic and/or electrophilic reactive function, and a junction group capable of establishing hydrogen bonds with one or more partner junction groups, the junction group bearing at least one reactive function capable of reacting with the reactive function borne by the oil, and also comprising at least one unit of formula (I) or (II):
Abstract:
A charging device for use with an electric vehicle including a power storage device. The charging device includes a power conduit configured to electrically couple the power storage device to the charging device. The charging device includes a first protection device configured to electrically isolate the charging device from the power storage device if a current flowing through the power conduit exceeds a current limit. The charging device also includes a controller configured to control the current flowing through the power conduit if the current flowing through the power conduit causes an integration threshold to be exceeded, wherein the integration threshold is representative of a predetermined amount of current that is enabled to flow through the power conduit over a predetermined period of time.

Abstract:
Polycondensate, composition containing it, especially a nail varnish composition, and process for preparation. The polycondensate may be obtained by reacting: a polyol comprising 3 to 6 hydroxyl groups; a saturated or unsaturated non-aromatic monocarboxylic acid; an aromatic monocarboxylic acid containing 7 to 11 carbon atoms; and a saturated or unsaturated, or even aromatic, linear, branched and/or cyclic polycarboxylic acid, comprising at least two carboxylic groups COOH; and/or a cyclic anhydride of such a polycarboxylic acid.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, a colorant comprising an inorganic fibrous matrix with tunnels and organic dye compounds incorporated at least partially in said tunnels, said compounds being selected from the indigoids, and present in an amount such that the weight ratio of colorant to matrix is greater than or equal to 0.028.The invention also relates to a method of cosmetic treatment of keratinous materials, comprising the application of said cosmetic composition.
Abstract:
The application provides a method to catalogue and visualize books in a familiar manner for the user, since its graphic interface enables reading of the virtual book in a manner as similar as possible to that of a physical book. The contents of the books may be displayed literally or with commentary such as general comments, historic notes, illustrations, music and even other books. It also includes tools such as dictionaries in multiple languages and search tools in order to provide access to library materials.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composite dyestuff, characterized in that it is in the form of microcapsules composed of a polymer matrix of crosslinked polyurethane, polyurea and/or polyurethane/polyurea type obtained by interfacial polycondensation, and of a pigment.
