The lost bearer (128) is a bearer that is not a default bearer (132) within a communication network that includes one or more lost communication flows (135). At least one radio access network (RAN) capable of communicating with the mobile device (114) can be determined, where the at least one RAN is not one used for the dedicated bearer (134) that was abnormally terminated. At least one alternative bearer (150) can be detected or established at the at least one RAN. Each lost communication flow (138) can be automatically and dynamically routed to the at least one alternative bearer (150). The routing of the lost communication flows (138) can occur without interrupting communications.

    摘要: A policy determination function (PDF) makes policy and charging control decisions based on radio spectrum blocks. More particularly, the PDF: receives radio spectrum block data via an interface; and determines, using the radio spectrum block data, a first radio spectrum block for use during a session for a subscriber, wherein the first radio spectrum block is one of a plurality of radio spectrum blocks, and wherein the subscriber has a unique set of policy and charging control (PCC) rules corresponding to each of the radio spectrum blocks in the plurality. The PDF further selects and provides to a policy enforcement function the set of PCC rules for the subscriber corresponding to the first radio spectrum block, for applying to communications with the subscriber during the session.

The group policy decision entity provides the set of applicable policy rules to a group policy enforcement entity.

One or more databases store and correlate information regarding the users of the narrowband talk group, as well as information regarding the user's communication devices and access technologies employed by the communication devices to determine the possible broadband groups available and an acceptable access technology to transmit the multimedia to the broadband group/data group users. The disparate network group manager informs the users of the narrowband talk group of the presence or availability of the parallel broadband group and establishes the parallel broadband group session when requested to do so by a user of the narrowband talk group.
