A seat belt buckle, comprising: a frame portion; a release button slidably mounted to the frame portion for movement between a first position and a second position; an inertia locking device rotatably mounted to the frame portion for movement between a blocking position and an unblocking position, the inertia locking device being configured to make contact with a cam surface of the release button when the inertia locking device is in the blocking position and slidable movement of the release button with respect to the frame portion is prevented when the inertia locking device is in the blocking position and the inertia locking device contacts the cam surface of the release button; and a biasing member for providing a biasing force for biasing the inertia locking device into the unblocking position, the inertia locking device being rotated into the blocking position when the biasing force of the biasing member is overcome.

An apparatus and method for securing seat belt components to a vehicle the seat belt webbing also having a buckle insert member for releasably engaging a seat belt buckle, the apparatus comprising an anchor configured for securing a tongue portion to the vehicle. The anchor comprising: a housing defining a receiving area; a biasing member secured to the housing, the biasing member being configured for movement between a first position and a second position, wherein the biasing member is configured to provide a biasing force to maintain the biasing member in the first position; a latch member secured to the biasing member, the latch member comprising a protrusion being configured to be received within the receiving area when the biasing member is in the first position, wherein the protrusion is displaced from the receiving area when the biasing member is in the second position; a mounting aperture disposed in the housing, the mounting aperture being configured to receive a mounting member therein; and wherein the anchor does not have a release button for moving the biasing member to the second position.

A self-sampling apparatus for collection of a cellular sample, particularly a vaginal sample for detection of human papillomavirus and its use is disclosed. The apparatus has an evacuated sample container closed by a puncturable seal and a fluid sample chamber in fluid communication with the evacuated container via a needle assembly. A fluid sample is drawn into the evacuated sample container upon establishing fluid communication between the fluid sample chamber and the evacuated container.

An airbag system includes an airbag module configured to be supported by an instrument panel of a vehicle. The airbag module includes a fabric housing having a top panel and one or more side panels extending from the top panel, and an airbag disposed within the fabric housing, the airbag movable between an undeployed position and a deployed position. In the undeployed position, the one or more side panels include a folded portion configured to extend in an unfolding action as the airbag is inflated and deployed, the unfolding action of the one or more side panels directing an expansion of the airbag in a desired direction.

A knee airbag assembly is operable to restrain at least one leg of an occupant of a vehicle. The assembly includes an inflator, a housing, and an airbag that moves between a stowed state and a deployed state. The inflator is operable to selectively inflate the airbag to move the airbag from the stowed state to the deployed state. The airbag is housed within the housing in the stowed state, and the airbag extends from the housing in the deployed state. The airbag defines a package width when in the stowed state, and the airbag defines a deployed width when in the deployed state. A ratio of the package width to the deployed width is between approximately 0.8 and 1.0.

Embodiments of the present invention include a method, apparatus, system, and/or computer program for monitoring energy consumption in a network and producing a display grid that provides a visual depiction of network device power consumption at any given time. The method includes, in one example, receiving a request for a power level schedule for a network device. The request may include a time period or date range over which the power level schedule should be produced. The method may also include retrieving Cron job strings associated with the network device, and parsing the Cron job strings to determine transitions from one power level to another and times for the transitions of the power level of the network device. The method further includes building a visual grid that depicts the power level schedule for the network device during each hour of the time period, based on the determined transitions.

A driver vision field extender uses flexible vinyl Fresnel-type prism lens material with substantially parallel horizontal straight linearly extending prism lines. The parallel lines permit wide side by side views without substantial distortion. As the driver vision field extender is intended to be positioned contiguously along the windshield, the driver vision field extender after installation preferably exhibits a concave shape acting to focus the light defining and delineating overhead objects towards front-seated passengers such as the driver.

A seat belt buckle for use with a tongue of a seat belt, the seat belt buckle comprising: a frame portion; a latch being movably mounted to the frame portion for movement between a first position and a second position, the latch being configured to engage a portion of the tongue as the latch moves from the first position to the second position; an ejector being slidably mounted to the frame portion for movement between a locking position and a release position, wherein movement toward the release position causes an opening force to be applied to the latch in order to move the latch from the second position towards the first position, wherein movement of the ejector towards the release position is caused by movement of a release button movably mounted to the seat belt buckle; an inertia locking device rotatably mounted to the release button for movement between a blocking position and an unblocking position, the inertia locking device being configured for rotation in a plane substantially parallel to a plane of movement of the latch, wherein a portion of the inertia locking device makes contact with the frame and prevents movement of the release button when the inertia locking device is in the blocking position; and a pair of springs integrally formed with the release button, the pair of springs being configured to provide a biasing force to the inertia locking device.
