    摘要: A technique is provided that can realize highly accurate shading correction with a simple configuration. A light amount of illumination light on a predetermined illumination target by a light source is controlled such that reflected light having a first luminance value as predetermined black reference data, reflected light having a second luminance value as predetermined white reference data, and reflected light having another luminance value as at least one value between the first luminance value and the second luminance value can be obtained. Information concerning the luminance of reflected light obtained by illuminating the predetermined illumination target with the light source, the light amount of which is controlled, is acquired. Shading correction is performed on the basis of the acquired information.

The transparent member is electrically connected to a bias voltage power supply. In reversal development, the bias voltage power supply supplies the transparent member with a voltage ranging from a charging voltage to a developing voltage so as to generate an electric field between the transparent member and the drum.     摘要: An image-reading device, in which the 1-bit signals a CCD line sensor has generated from the light applied from an illumination lamp and reflected from an original are shading-corrected, thereby forming image data. Before scanning the original, a black reference signal, a white reference signal at a level higher than that of the black reference level, and three intermediate reference signals are generated and stored into memories. During the scanning of the original, a selector selects two of the reference signals in accordance with the level of each signal output by the CCD line sensor, and the difference between the signal output by the sensor and the black reference signal is shading-corrected, by using the two reference signals selected by the selector. The signal output by the CCD line sensor can therefore made linearly proportional to the intensity of the input light, even if the CCD line sensor has no linear input-output characteristic or even if the photoelectric elements of the sensor have different input-output characteristics.

    摘要: An apparatus includes a white reference member, an exposure lamp, a CCD sensor including a plurality of linear sensors connected in series, and a plurality of gain amplifiers which amplifies the outputs of the linear sensors, respectively. The apparatus selects one linear sensor, adjusts the gain of the gain amplifier corresponding to the selected linear sensor, adjusts the gain of the gain amplifier corresponding to the linear sensor existing to the left side of the selected linear sensor, and adjusts the gain of the gain amplifier corresponding to the linear sensor existing to the right side of the selected linear sensor. A difference in output at connecting positions among the line sensors is removed by adjusting the gains of gain amplifiers.
