Abstract:
An automatic reel unwinding apparatus in a machine for packaging products having a bearer structure (14, 15) carrying a pair of rotating arms (16), centrally hinged to the bearer structure (15) through a rotation shaft (17) and carrying at their ends, on two shafts (18, 18′), at least a pair of reels (12, 12′), the rotation shaft (17) being commanded through a speed reducer (20) and each of the two shafts (18, 18′) being commanded by a motor reducer (21) through a respective transmission (22) able to be selectively engaged with the motor reducer, the withdrawable shafts (18, 18′) being fixed to at least one openable support (19, 19′) arranged at an end of the arms (16).
Abstract:
An automatic feed device for individual publishing products of different thickness and sizes includes a first conveyor belt (13) and a second conveyor belt (14) arranged with the first conveyor belt (13) being partially over the second conveyor belt (14) in combination with an automatic feed device having a bearing structure (15), a pair of manipulator members (19) for gripping the publishing products (12) on the first conveyor belt (13). The publishing products are then laid down on the second conveyor belt (14) separate from one another while the manipulators (19) alternately move forwards and backwards between the first and second conveyor belt (13, 14) to transfer the individual publishing products to two predetermined positions on the first and second conveyor belts (13, 14).
Abstract:
A procedure for feeding products in sheet form to a conveyor by at least one sheet feeder with a pile of products in sheet form on a loading table includes the following phases. At least one sheet feeder is placed with a free edge of its loading table for the pile of products in sheet form inclined at an angle in relation to a direction parallel to a principal feed axis coinciding with the axis of the conveyor. A pile of products in sheet form is prepared to be placed on the loading table. The pile of products in sheet form is placed with a flat surface of these, provided with ribbing, inclined at an angle in relation to a pick-up assembly of at least one sheet feeder so that one corner or vertex of the products is placed projecting beyond the end edge of the loading table. A pick-up assembly in a sheet feeder uses this procedure.
Abstract:
For association with a packaging line, a device for overturning packaged editorial products which grips the editorial products (12) advancing on a conveyor belt (13) and overturns them to superpose them on the next product in order to facilitate their final stacking within a collection element. Such a device is particularly advantageous when handling packaged editorial products the thickness of which varies along their length by virtue of consisting of at least one editorial product (12') combined within its wrapper with a second added product (12") of different dimensions.
Abstract:
An automatic apparatus for folding sheet elements fed one after the other in succession, comprising a first unit for U-shaping the sheet elements to define two vertical side portions and a longitudinal central region, a pusher element for V-shaping the central region and a second unit for the final compaction of the V-shaped sheet elements. The apparatus also comprises a third unit for rotating the folded compacted sheet elements leaving the second unit through 90.degree. and elements for separating the parallel side-by-side edges of the thus folded and compacted sheet elements to enable further additional elements to be inserted between them. The speed of the various units is correlated to prevent any deterioration or slippage of the sheet elements.
Abstract:
A packaging machine is shown, for various articles, single or multiple, particularly mail, fragile and delicate articles and the like, wherein the article to be packaged is dropped into a partially formed envelope, which is thereafter sealed and severed from the supply of packaging material, any contact of the article with any mechanical gripping device being prevented.
Abstract:
An assembly (10) for applying a fluid behavior substance on a shaped closure strip (13, 13′, 13″) of an envelope (12, 12′, 12″) for letters comprising a supplying device (14) of the fluid behavior substance, a container element (17) of the fluid behavior substance supplied, a first and a second cylindrical element (18, 19) rotating around their parallel axis and radially arranged facing each other to form a passage for the envelope (12, 12′, 12″), wherein the supplying device (14) comprises a vessel element (15) of the fluid behavior substance and a connection element (16) for the passage of the fluid behavior substance from the vessel element (15) into the container element (17), the second cylindrical element (19) comprises a side surface (21, 21′, 21″) partially shaped in a manner complementary with the shaped closure strip (13, 13′, 13″), partially accommodated in the lower part of the container element (17) in contact with fluid behavior substance supplied.
Abstract:
Packaging equipment for continuously making packages of stacks of tiles on a working conveyor that feeds the stacks of tiles to be packaged. The equipment has a first element for feeding a plastic film on top of the working conveyor that projects laterally below the stacks of tiles and also has a second element for feeding two laminar elements parallel to each other on top of the plastic film which laterally project below the stacks of tiles. Guiding rods are provided for vertically lifting and upper winding of the projecting portions of the plastic film that is around the stacks of tiles as they advance on the conveyor. Longitudinal welding device and another welding device are provided for welding the plastic film around the stacks of tiles.
Abstract:
A process for feeding individual sheeted products to a conveyor (13) with thrusters (14) in an apparatus for packaging publishing products through at least one feeder (11) that comprises a pile (12) of sheeted products (10) in which an individual sheeted product (10) is slipped away from the bottom of the pile (12) and is gripped by a gripping element (18) arranged integral with a rotating disc (19) for feeding it towards the conveyor (13) with thrusters, said process foreseeing the steps of: arranging a pair of rollers (21) downstream of the rotating disc that receive the individual sheeted product (10), and actuating the rollers (21) at a different speed to that at which the conveyor with thrusters advances in at least a portion of the discharge cycle (K) of the individual sheeted product (10) at a different speed to the optimal one. The invention also concerns a feeder (11) that uses such a process.
