摘要: An apparatus for attaching a shrinkable label on a product placed on a conveyor, by irradiating light onto the shrinkable label, comprises two sets of light emitters which are arranged opposite each other on both sides of the conveyor along a defined length of the conveyor to form an irradiation volume through which the conveyor passes. The light emitters are configured to emit directed light bundles into the irradiation volume in different directions. In a plan view of the apparatus, the directions of the light bundles intersect with a longitudinal central axis of the conveyor. The intersection points of the directions of the light bundles emitted from the light emitters on a same side of the conveyor with the longitudinal central axis of the conveyor differ from each other.

摘要: A method of shaping and compressing toilet paper rolls using compressor rollers is disclosed. The method is comprised of a workflow that includes fluted rollers, sleeve wrapping and specific packaging procedures. An object of the method is to provide a means to reduce the size of conventional toilet paper rolls in bulk to make shipping more efficient. For example, a box that currently holds twelve rolls now can hold twice as many rolls when utilizing the disclosed method.

摘要: A packaging system including a heat shrinkable flexible wall container and a heat shrinkable label is described. The label can be applied to the container prior to heat shrinking. Upon subjecting the labeled container containing the items or goods of interest to a heat shrink operation, the label and flexible wall container both undergo shrinking. The shrinkage characteristics of the flexible wall container and the label are matched to one another. Also described are various methods of packaging using the noted systems.

摘要: A packaged unit includes a cluster of products and a shrink film that secures the products to each other. The shrink film is wrapped around the cluster, thereby forming a lateral opening that would otherwise result in a shrink eye. A closure formed by placing a portion of the shrink film against the cluster at in the region of the lateral opening forms a closed surface with overlapping fold regions of the shrink film, thus avoiding the shrink eye.
