Abstract:
An ophthalmologic laser device includes a pulsed laser configured to produce radiation focused along at treatment beam path. A variably adjustable beam deflector unit and a focusing lens system are disposed in the treatment beam path. The deflector unit is configured to focus the radiation in different target volumes. Measuring equipment is configured to determine a shape and position of optical interfaces along a detection beam path. A control unit is configured to control the laser and the deflector unit and to implement steps including determining a shape and position of an interface of a membrane of a capsular bag of an eye located in a treatment area using the measuring equipment, determining coordinates of a target volume such that, on irradiation of the target volume, a pressure wave runs from the target volume to the anterior or posterior membrane, and adjusting the deflector unit to the target determined volume.
Abstract:
A device and a method for the femtosecond laser surgery of tissue, especially in the vitreous humor of the eye. The device of includes an ultrashort pulse laser with pulse widths in the range of approximately 10 fs-1 ps, especially approximately 300 fs, pulse energies in the range of approximately 5 nJ-5μJ, especially approximately 1-2 μJ and pulse repetition rates of approximately 10 kHz-10 MHz, especially 500 kHz. The laser system is coupled to a scanner system which allows the spatial variation of the focus in three dimensions (x, y and z). In addition to the therapeutic laser/scanner optical system the device includes a navigation system.

Abstract:
An ophthalmological biometric or image-producing system and method for detection and analysis of measurement data including a measurement arrangement with an illumination unit for illuminating the eye with at least one measurement beam, a signal detection unit for the detection of the light portions scattered or reflected back from the eye, a central control unit with an output unit, and a pattern generating unit which includes an optical scan unit, a control unit as well as a position sensor for measuring the realized deflections of the optical scan unit, whereby control unit, optical scan unit and position sensor can form a control circuit. Thereby, the position sensor, except for the connection within the possible control circuit, includes a connection to a unit of the measurement arrangement for optimizing measurement value logging or to the central control unit for correcting the biometric measurements or tomograms.
Abstract:
A polarization beam splitter selectively decouples detection light onto a detector such that it has a polarization direction that differs from the emitted illumination light. This enables the detection of the light scattered back in the eye lens at a high level of accuracy, since stray light from reflections at optical components of the light path is suppressed. In the generating of photo disruptions or other incisions, the ray exposure of the retina may be reduced in that the incisions being furthest away from the laser are induced first such that laminar gas inclusions with an existence duration time of at least 5 seconds result. In this manner the laser radiation propagated in the direction of the retina in further incisions are scattered and partially reflected such that the influence impinging upon the retina is reduced.
Abstract:
A navigation apparatus for optically analyzing an inner structure of an optical element and processing that element comprises a detection device and a processing device. The detection device has an aperture smaller than 0.25 and the processing device is disposed relative to the analyzed inner structure of the optical element. An apparatus for planning therapy for a human eye comprises a dynamic wavefront measurement device for acquiring wavefront data, a diagnostic device for determining geometric parameters of the optical apparatus of the eye, a controller for consistent superposition of the wavefront and geometric data, and an additional controller for planning the most efficient therapeutic laser cutting paths.
Abstract:
An agent system which can be loaded onto a computer in a network is adjusted based on the hardware and/or software of the computer. This makes it possible to incorporate even small mobile computers, in particular simple process computers, into a network in which agent systems are installed on the individual computers, without the power of the agent system needing to be significantly restricted in principle and without needing to dispense with the fundamental applicability of agent systems for small computers.
