Abstract:
According to some embodiments, information about at least one user associated with a light fixture network, having a plurality of light fixtures each equipped with a wireless communication device, may be received. A bio-algorithm to be applied to the light fixture network may then be determined based on the information about the at least one user. An appropriate lighting parameter (e.g., a luminescence, a wattage, a color characteristic, and/or a wavelength) for at least one of the light fixtures in the light fixture network may be dynamically calculated, and it may be arranged for the at least one light fixture to operate in accordance with the dynamically calculated lighting parameter.

The scores are saved on the users mobile devices and compared in real time.
Abstract:
An improved credit card billing method and system is disclosed which permits multiple items purchased as part of a single transaction or order to be separately billed on a credit card in accordance with a payment schedule designed to minimize inquiries regarding the overall order by the customer. The billing system permits the billing descriptor appearing on the credit card billing statement to have sufficient detail to minimize subsequent customer inquiries. The billing descriptor preferably includes a different customer service number for each individual item. Goods or services are purchased from a merchant in a conventional manner. The customer provides the merchant with a list of the multiple items included in the order, as well as credit card information. The merchant will preferably establish a staggered schedule for billing each individual item in the order and submit the charge requests to the credit card issuer in accordance with the established billing schedule.
Abstract:
A system for providing an open-ended subscription to commodity items normally available on a term basis includes a central agent that serves as the front-end for commodity suppliers. This central agent maintains databases containing information associated with a group of commodity items and their sales. Using these databases, the central agent produces subscription records to provide open-ended subscription services to its customers, while supporting the term-based subscriptions of the commodity suppliers.
Abstract:
Methods and systems are provided for forwarding location dependent messages from a first user's mobile device over a wireless communication network to a second user's mobile device, via a central server.
Abstract:
Provided are systems, devices, and methods for routing events. In one example, an application server includes a network interface to receive demographic information and a request from a mobile application executing on a mobile device, and a processor configured to identify an item that corresponds to the request, identify a web server that corresponds to the item, generate an event based on the request, and determine whether the event corresponds to the application server or the web server based on a combination of the item and the received demographic information. The processor may further process the event or control the network interface to transmit the event to the web server, based on determining whether the event corresponds to the application server or the web server.
Abstract:
According to some embodiments, data about a plurality of remote water devices may be received, and each water device is associated with one of plurality of customers of an enterprise and includes a wireless communication device. Based on data indicative of water usage by a first customer, a first water savings amount may be determined for the first customer in connection with a pre-determined period of time. An allocation of the first water savings amount between the first customer and the enterprise may be dynamically calculated, and an indication of the allocation between the first customer and the enterprise may be transmitted.
Abstract:
There are provided methods and systems for providing viewers of a digital image with information about identifiable and scenes within the image. Abstract:
Methods and systems for facilitating subscription rights sales, typically in the form of season ticket sales, between buyers and sellers. Ticket holders are provided with the ability to identify selected tickets and to flexibly and easily establish criteria under which they will entertain offers to sell these tickets. Ticket holders may thus monetize unused tickets, under favorable conditions, based upon individual offers and without the requirement of a definite commitment to sell. Concomitantly, buyers are provided access to a large base of potentially available tickets, which might not otherwise be available for sale. Buyers may assemble offers based upon seller criteria and, in some instances, useful historical information. The invention facilitates the buyer/seller interaction by publishing available ticket information in useful formats, collecting and providing buyer offers which meet seller criteria to sellers for consideration, facilitating communications and negotiations between buyers and sellers, and facilitating the actual purchase and sale of tickets.
