Abstract:
This invention presents the LC combined transformer, a combination of capacitances, inductances and an electrically-isolated mutual inductor, i.e. conventional transformer. To improve the imperfections of the widely-used transformers, by means of the simplest passive-circuit design of perfectly-functionally mating mutual capacitors with the mutual inductor, the invention achieves optimal characteristics of current or/and voltage conversions, with a new property of waveform conversion from square-wave to quasi-sinusoid. The ideal current transformers herein are suited to sinusoidal current measurements, the ideal voltage transformers suited to sinusoidal voltage measurements, and they all could be upgraded to ideal transformers, capable of current and voltage conversions. They can also be designed as both power transferable and waveform convertible, applicable in power electronics. Herein also states the design approach of integrated inductor and mutual inductor and the usage of push-pull inductor, materials being fully utilized and sizes greatly decreased.

A power supply apparatus for use with a redundant power supply system includes a casing, a main circuit board and an airflow driving device. The casing includes a first airflow opening and a second airflow opening. The main circuit board is disposed within the casing and includes plural electronic components thereon. The airflow driving device is disposed in the middle region of the main circuit board. A cooling air is pumped by the airflow driving device to be introduced into the inner portion of the casing through one of the first airflow opening and the second airflow opening, then the heat generated from the electronic components is removed by the cooling air, and finally a heated air is exhausted through the other one of the first airflow opening and the second airflow opening.
Abstract:
A redundant power supply system includes a system cabinet, a first power supply apparatus, a second power supply apparatus and a power converting circuit board. The system cabinet at least includes a first receptacle and a second receptacle. The first power supply apparatus has a first connection interface. The second power supply apparatus has a second connection interface. The power converting circuit board is disposed inside the system cabinet and includes a first insertion slot, a second insertion slot and a power converting circuit. A voltage outputted from the first power supply apparatus and/or the second power supply apparatus is converted by the power converting circuit into a regulated voltage when the first connection interface of the first power supply apparatus and the second connection interface of the second power supply apparatus are inserted into the first insertion slot and the second insertion slot, respectively.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a computer matching system used by a plurality of users and the method therefor, said system comprising a database; an offer creation program means for creating an entity for an offer input by each user in the database and storing said offer therein; and a search engine for comparing and matching a requirement input by a user with other users' offers stored in the database and returning matching results to said user. Advantageously, said requirement includes multiple elements as search criteria, each of said elements is assigned a weight of importance thereby each matching result has a search score indicating satisfaction level of said user, said search engine further perform ordering and ranking of said matching results according to the respective search scores thereof, and only the matching results have search scores above a predetermined satisfaction level are returned to said user. Said multi-element confidence matching system can automatically provide the user or trader with the information he is interested in without the intervention of the trader, and give the user the maximum amount of information about offers which may meet their requirement, so as to give the trader the ability to not just see offers which exactly match their criteria, but ones which come close or can fulfill part of, or more than, their needs, thereby the trader may conduct the search efficiently
Abstract:
A solid-state polymer electrolyte membrane and a supercapacitive lithium-ion battery utilizing the solid-state polymer electrolyte membrane. The solid-state polymer electrolyte membrane comprising a mixture of a lithium salt, a plasticizer, and a co-network of a crosslinkable polyether addition and a crosslinkable amine addition. The co-network is crosslinked, and the solid-state polymer electrolyte membrane is conductive on the order of 10−3 S cm−1. The supercapacitive lithium-ion battery utilizing the solid-state polymer electrolyte membrane has an operating range of between about 0.01 and about 4.3 V without short-circuiting while also having a higher capacity relative to conventional liquid electrolyte lithium-ion batteries.

A microfluidic chip for sorting sperm includes a substrate, a sample channel, and a plurality of divergent channels. The sample channel is disposed in the substrate. The divergent channels are disposed in the substrate. Each of the divergent channels includes a main channel and two branch channels. The two branch channels are connected to an end of the main channel away from the sample channel. The two branch channels are disposed at two sides of the main channels respectively. The sample channel and the main channels of the plurality of divergent channels are substantially connected to each other in serial along a direction.
Abstract:
A vehicle handling assistant apparatus is discloses, the vehicle handling assistant apparatus utilizes an environment acquisition means to acquire an environment signal and utilizes an environment presentation means to present the environment signal. The vehicle handling assistant apparatus also utilizes an obstacle detection means to detect an obstacle from the environment signal acquired by the environment acquisition means and output an obstacle signal. The obstacle detection means may be implemented by an infrared sensor, a radar sensor, an ultrasonic sensor or a camera. An obstacle region generation means generates an obstacle region signal from the environment signal based on the obstacle signal generated by the obstacle detection means. The obstacle region signal includes information about a position of the foot point line and a width of the obstacle region. An environment signal adjustment means adjusts the environment signal presented by the environment presentation means based on the obstacle region signal.
Abstract:
An impedance-matched amplifier utilizing a feed-forward linearization technique involving multiple negative feedbacks and distortion compensation without active tail current sources reduces noise, distortion, power consumption and heat dissipation requirements and increases linearity, dynamic range, signal-to-noise-ratio, sensitivity and quality of service. Some differential amplifier embodiments of the invention consume less than 2 mA at 5 Volts or 10 mW power consumption per 1 mW in peak and sustained output IP3 performance above 40 dBm. In contrast, for an input signal frequency of 200 MHz, a 16 dB gain state-of-the-art differential amplifier consumes 100 mA at 5 Volts with a peak output IP3 of 36 dBm while an implementation of a 16 dB gain differential amplifier embodying the invention consumes 77.7 mA at 5 Volts with a peak output IP3 of 46 dBm and sustained at or above 40 dBm over a wide frequency range.
