Abstract: A charging device of a hearing aid has a charging unit, which has a housing with a housing cover and a magnet arranged therein and movably guided in a longitudinal direction. At one longitudinal end, a contact is attached on the magnet for the detachable, direct electrical contacting with a counter contact of the hearing aid. The contact is electrically connected by a line to a charging circuit, wherein the housing cover has an opening, within which the contact is inserted. The charging device is part of a system having a hearing aid.

Abstract: An electronic device has a temperature reduction configuration and a technique for wireless charging. The electronic device has a rechargeable battery, a receiver circuit for wirelessly receiving energy from a charger and transforming the received energy into a charging current for charging the battery, and a power management circuit for regulating the level of the charging current. The power management circuit is arranged on a printed circuit board of the electronic device so that it faces away from the battery. Abstract: A method is indicated for operating a hearing aid, wherein the hearing aid is switchable between a usage state, in which a signal processing unit of the hearing aid is activated, and an idle state, in which the signal processing unit is deactivated. The hearing aid has a time measuring unit, which has a first timer and a second timer. The first timer is activated in the usage state and is deactivated in the idle state, for time measurement during the usage state. The second timer is activated in the idle state for time measurement during the idle state. Furthermore, a corresponding hearing aid is indicated.

Abstract: A method for operating a binaural hearing system having first and second hearing instruments includes using respective electroacoustic first and second input transducers of the first and second hearing instruments to generate first and second input signals from ambient sound. The first and second input signals are used to ascertain respective first and second instantaneous gain parameters. A first parameter of an automatic gain control for the first input signal and/or a second parameter of an automatic gain control for the second input signal is/are adjusted so that the adjustment results in a difference between the first and second instantaneous gain parameters being decreased. Abstract: A method for adapting signal processing parameters of a hearing instrument of a hearing system. A number of acoustic indicators (IndA) for a temporary environmental situation of a user of the hearing instrument is ascertained from an input signal generated by a transducer. A first sensor ascertains a number of peripheral indicators (IndP) for the existing temporary environmental situation. Based on the acoustic and peripheral indicators (IndA, IndP) the system determines whether the existing temporary environmental situation falls into a known class of temporary environmental situations. If it does not, a new class is defined with the respective ascertained acoustic and peripheral indicator(s) (IndA, IndP), and the plurality of signal processing parameters are assigned a corresponding plurality of parameter values, according to which the first input signal is to be processed to form the output signal upon the future existence of a temporary environmental situation from the new class.
