The processor comprises a plurality of photoconductive segments two-dimensionally arranged with a space among the photoconductive segments for forming the charge image when illuminated with the electro-magnetic radiation beam for writing and a high resistive member provided in the space for preventing transfer of electric charges of the formed charge image among the photoconductive segments.

    摘要: A spatial light modulator providing an improved contrast, has a laminated structure of multiple layers including typically a photoconductive layer, an optical modulation layer, and a pair of electrode layers interposing the photoconductive and optical modulation layers. The thickness of at least one of the electrode layers having a predetermined relationship with a wavelength of light incident to the one of the electrode layers for writing or reading-out information into or from the spatial light modulator. The electrode layer may further comprise an electrode member and an intermediate layer disposed between the electrode member and an adjacent layer laminated adjacent to the one of the electrode layers, the electrode member having a first refractive index, the adjacent layer having a second refractive index, and the intermediate layer having a third refractive index determined to be in between the first and second indices, the thickness of the intermediate layer having an another predetermined relationship with the wavelength of the light incident to the one of the electrode layers for writing or reading-out information into or from the spatial light modulator. The intermediate layer may be a single layer-member or multiple layer-members having different refractive indices each other.

    摘要: A ferrite core magnetic head useful in a video tape recorder is reinforced in regions near its magnetic gap by the application of a filling material which is a mixture of a glass composition such as a lead glass and a powdered electrically conducting and nonmagnetic material such as a conducting metal oxide or a metal. In thermal expansion coefficient, the glass for the filling material must be comparable to the core material of the head. The use of this filling material precludes cracking of the core by heat treatments during fabrication and deposition of dust on the head surface during operation.

    摘要: In a color image display apparatus, light beams intensity modulated by a green color image signal are deflected by an ocillating mirror, and then focused on a photo-conductive layer (PCL) member of a light-written type spacial light modulation element (SLM) through two focusing lenses for light write operation. Light beams intensity modulated by a time-axis compressed time-divisional image signal of two remaining colors (red and blue) are deflected by another mirror oscillated simultaneously with the ocillating mirror, and then focused on a PCL member of a SLM of the same type through two focusing lenses for light write operation. A read light beam is resolved into the light of the green wave length band and the lights of red and blue wave length bands, respectively, and then given to the SLMs, respectively for light read operation. The two read light beams reflected by the SLMs are synthesizing, and then projected on a screen through a common projection lens.

    摘要: This specification discloses an image projector for projecting a tri-color composite optical image on a screen as a magnified optical image. A reading light beam emitted from a light source is separated into three color beams, e.g., Red, Green and Blue color beams through a tri-color separation and composition optical system. The separated color beams are irradiated on image forming devices provided correspondingly with Red, Green and Blue color images to read out color images respectively therefrom. Each of the reflected light beams from the image forming device carrying color image information impinges again on the tri-color separation and composition optical system to compose a composite image beam. The composite image beam is projected on the screen through an optical lens system comprising a first lens group, a second lens group and a third lens group disposed along an optical axis in order. The first lens group forms a composite color image on the second lens group by focusing the composite image beam from the tri-color separation and composition optical system. The second lens group converges the composite image beam therefrom to the third lens group. The third lens group projects the composite image beam on the screen as a magnified image. A focal length of the lens system is arranged shorter than a back-focal length defined as a distance between the front surface of the first lens group and a object focal point thereof.
