摘要： According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a housing which has a shielding layer on its inner surface and is provided with an opening, a housed component which is contained inside the housing, and a module which is provided at the exterior of the housing, and has a first conducting section that is electrically connected to the housed component and a second conducting section that is different from the first conducting section. The electronic device includes a connection portion, and the connection portion has a contact portion and an elastic support portion which is extended to a part near the opening and supports the contact portion. The contact portion equalizes the potential of the shielding layer with the potential of the second conducting section by electrically connecting to the shielding layer by the opening, and contacting the second conducting section.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a USB port for connecting a note PC to an external device includes a rib structure that faces an opening formed in a side wall of the housing of the note PC and receives a gasket. The rib structure includes a frame member surrounding the gasket, and a plurality of ribs. The frame member has a cutout formed in a portion thereof remote from the side wall. When the gasket is pressed and elastically deformed by the receptacle of a connector, the deformed portion of the gasket escapes through the cutout.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a USB port for connecting a note PC to an external device includes a rib structure that faces an opening formed in a side wall of the housing of the note PC and receives a gasket. 摘要： A spatial light modulator capable of displaying a good contrast and high resolution moving pictures without an after-image effect is disclosed. The modulator comprises a pair of transparent electrodes for generating an electric field therebetween and at least a photoconductive member and a photo modulation member being laminated and interposed between the transparent electrodes, the photoconductive member is a film having a thickness ranged from 10 .mu.m to 30 .mu.m and is made of hydrogenated amorphous silicon doped with boron such that an amount of the boron with respect to silicon in the hydrogenated amorphous silicon in atomic percent is, 0.1 to 1.0 ppm. To enhance the modulator performance, a thickness of the photoconductive member is so selected to have light absorptance ranged 70% to 95% at a wavelength of a writing light which writes information in the modulator.
