    摘要: A hologram disc reading and writing apparatus including a signal light source module, a beam splitter, a reference/reading light source, a reflector, and an optical reading head and a hologram disc reading apparatus are provided. A signal light beam emitted from the signal light source module is transmitted to a data region of a hologram disc through the beam splitter. The reference/reading light source, the signal light source module, and the optical reading head are disposed at the same side of the hologram disc. The reflector is disposed at the other side. A spherical wave light beam emitted from the reference/reading light source is transmitted through the data region and reflected by the reflector to form a phase conjugate light beam transmitted to and through the data region. The phase conjugate light beam is transformed to a data light beam transmitted to the optical reading head through the beam splitter.

    摘要: A light guide plate structure including a main body, a low-refraction index layer, and a collimation lens film is provided. The main body has a side incident surface on a sidewall thereof. The low-refraction index layer is bonded to an upper surface of the main body. A refraction index of the low-refraction index layer is smaller than a refraction index of the main body. The low-refraction index layer has a plurality of through holes therein. The through holes are filled with a material, and the refraction index of the material is close to the refraction index of the main body. The collimation lens film is disposed on an upper surface of the low-refraction index layer and has a plurality of lens structures aligned to the through holes respectively for transforming a light beam entering the collimation lens film via the through holes into a parallel light beam projecting upward.

    摘要: An optical touch apparatus is adapted to a display apparatus. The optical touch apparatus includes at least one light source, at least one light guide unit, and at least one optical detector. The light source is disposed beside a display area of the display apparatus and capable of providing a light beam. The light guide unit is disposed beside the display area in a transmission path of the light beam and has a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a light incident surface. The light incident surface connects the first and second surfaces. The light beam is capable of entering the light guide unit through the light incident surface and is transmitted to a sensing space in front of the display area. The optical detector is disposed beside the display area to sense an intensity variation of the light beam in the sensing space.

    摘要: A light guide plate capable of guiding a light beam from a light emitting device and a backlight module using the light guide plate are provided. The light guide plate includes a light-transmissive substrate and optical structures. The light-transmissive substrate has a first surface, an opposite second surface, and an incident surface connecting the first and the second surface. The light beam enters the light-transmissive substrate through the incident surface and is emitted out of the light-transmissive substrate through the first surface. The optical structures are disposed on the second surface. Each optical structure has a first total internal reflection (TIR) surface, a second TIR surface, and a third TIR surface. The second TIR surface connects the first and third TIR surfaces. Part of the light beam from the incident surface is totally internally reflected by any adjacent two of the first, second, and third TIR surfaces in sequence.

    摘要: A fabrication method of a brightness enhancement film (BEF) including the following steps is provided. A light transmissive substrate is provided and has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. Then, a plurality of first rod-shaped lenses are formed on the first surface. The rod-shaped lenses extend along a first direction and are arranged along a second direction. After that, a plurality of second stripe-shaped prisms are formed on the second surface. The stripe-shaped prisms extend along the second direction and are arranged along the first direction. Next, an electromagnetic wave beam is made to pass through the rod-shaped lenses, the light transmissive substrate and the stripe-shaped prisms in sequence. A first portion of each of the stripe-shaped prisms exposes and leaves a second portion of each of the stripe-shaped prisms unexposed. Then, the second portions of the stripe-shaped prisms are removed.

The light guide plate includes a light emitting surface, a bottom opposite to the light emitting surface, a light incident surface connecting the light emitting surface and the bottom, a plurality of grating structures, and a plurality of diffusion dots. The light incident surface is near the point light sources. The diffusion dots are disposed on the bottom. At least portions of the grating structures are disposed on the light incident surface. Each of the grating structures has a plurality of concave parts and a plurality of protruding parts. Each of the concave parts is disposed between two neighboring protruding parts. A ratio of the predetermined wavelength to a pitch between two neighboring protruding parts is ranged between 1.2 to 1.3.
