摘要： In a rotary stencil printer in which a back press roller 12 is provided with a transverse groove 26 for receiving a transverse bar 16 of a printing drum 10 and a printing sheet applied with a printing at a nipping region 32 between the printing drum and the back press roller is transferred for a while as attached onto the cylindrical outer circumferential surface of the back press roller by a pinch roller or rollers 40 provided at an outlet side of the nipping region so as to press at a side edge portion or portions of the printing sheet against the outer circumferential surface of the back press roller, the position control of the pinch roller or rollers to conform to the sheet width is carried out in a condition that the pinch roller or rollers are aligned with the transverse groove of the back press roller.

The control section (102) controls the stencil making process, the stencil disposing process, and the stencil printing process for the printing information. When the printing information includes common printing data, the controller (102) controls the printing drum on which the stencil sheet for the common printing data is rolled so that the stencil making and disposal processes are not performed.

摘要： In a mimeographic printing machine in which a mimeographic stencil paper is initially set in such a manner that the front leading end of the mimeographic stencil paper is located in a stencil paper passageway between a stencil making device and a rotary cylindrical printing drum, the mimeographic printing machine has a stencil paper conveying device, a stencil paper sensor and controller. The controller controls the stencil paper conveying device as follows: In the case where the stencil paper sensor does not detect the presence of the stencil paper when the stencil paper is initially set, the controller causes the stencil paper conveying device to forwardly move the stencil paper until, after the sensor detects the passage of the front leading end of the stencil paper, the front leading end of the stencil paper reaches a predetermined position. On the other hand, in the case where the sensor detects the presence of the stencil paper when the stencil paper is initially set, the controller causes the stencil paper conveying device to backwardly move the stencil paper until the sensor detects the passage of the front leading end of the stencil paper, and then to forwardly move the stencil paper until, after the sensor detects the passage of the front leading end of the stencil paper, the front leading end of the stencil paper reaches the predetermined position.

摘要： Black inverted noises in a white background due to resolution correction are reduced by an image processing apparatus which carries out image modification processing to invert at least a portion of a binary converted signal obtained from binary conversion of an image signal. An image signal S1 is respectively input to resolution correction means 201 and 202 using different correction amounts. The signal is then input to selecting means 310 from the both resolution correction means. The signal output from the selecting means is input to binary conversion means 400 and a signal S2 output therefrom is input to image modification processing means 500. when image modification processing has been instructed, a control signal CNT1 is input to the selecting means 310 and the selecting means output a signal with weak resolution correction from the resolution correction means 202 using a small correction amount.

摘要： A stencil-making-type printing machine in which plural types of rotary cylindrical drums having printing regions of different sizes can be replaceable loaded, in which a stencil sheet provided in the form of a roll is cut according to the printing region of a rotary cylindrical drum loaded therein to form a printing stencil, and a printing operation is carried out with the printing stencil wound on the rotary cylindrical drum, and before a printing operation is carried out for a new original, a used stencil is separated from the rotary cylindrical drum and discarded into a used-stencil accommodating box by a conveying means. The printing machine comprises a control system which controls operating time of the conveying means depending on the loaded rotary cylindrical drum, thereby stopping the operation of the conveying means immediately after the stencil has been discarded in the accommodating box and surely accommodating the stencil in the accommodating box.
