Abstract:
A double-sided printed circuit board (PCB) layout for an information jack has an information jack terminal and an IDC wiring terminal together with a number of pairs of condensers, a number of pairs of power inducers, main lead wires, a number of pairs of leads, and extension lead wires. The PCB contains a circuit lead wire structure for the jack terminal and for the IDC wiring terminal and eight pins for each terminal separated into pairs wherein pair one is comprised of pins 4 and 5 and pair three is comprised of pins 3 and 6. Pair one's 4, 5 pins and Pair three's 3, 6 pins are separated and located on different sides of the PCB. In this way the power inducting effect and power condensing effect generated from the main leads and extension leads are utilized to achieve the objective of reducing cross-take and improving return loss, thereby allowing the two to surpass Category 6 communications protocols for improving correct signal transmission and maximizing the product's overall operating yield.
Abstract:
A network device (10) for retrieving voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) configuration parameters includes an automatic dialing module, an asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) module, a connection determining module, a sending module, and a parsing module. The automatic dialing module provides automatic dialing connections. The ADSL module provides ADSL connections. The connection determining module determines whether an automatic dialing connection and an ADSL connection of the network device are normal. The sending module communicates with the connection determining module and a server for sending a data retrieval request to the server. The response determining module communicates with the server for determining whether a response received from the server is correct. The parsing module communicates with the response determining module and the server for receiving data sent by the server corresponding to the data retrieval request and parsing the data to determine VoIP configuration parameters.
Abstract:
An xDSL (Digital Subscriber Line) modem (160) includes a setting module (168), a detection module (164), and a distinguishing module (166). The setting module pre-sets a threshold value, and adjusts the threshold value according to noise types. The detection-module captures connection parameters of the xDSL modem and the central office (CO) (120), and computes a judging value. The distinguish module distinguishes noise types according to the judging value, and determines whether the connection is maintained or disconnected. A method for stabilizing connection between an xDSL modem and a CO is also provided.
Abstract:
A box structure for emplacing billiard cues is composed of a hard and long casing with an opening at an end for installing a cover. A protecting block is located at the opening of casing or inside the cover. The protecting block is made by a PU material, and is provided with a plurality of emplacing holes which are passed through thereon, for inserting an end of billiard cue, such that the protecting block can protect the billiard cues from being damaged or deformed.
Abstract:
A method for detecting a status regarding provision or otherwise of a public switched telephone network (PSTN) service to a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) apparatus includes the steps of: providing a dummy load circuit and an off-hook detection circuit; entering a PSTN mode; coupling the dummy load circuit to a PSTN to simulate an off-hook status of a telephone set; detecting whether there is a dial tone from the PSTN by the off-hook detection circuit; and determining whether the PSTN service is provided to the VoIP apparatus according to a detection or otherwise of a dial tone from the PSTN. A VoIP apparatus employing the method is also provided.
Abstract:
A hand tool having an adjustable head with a joint lock mechanism. The joint lock mechanism comprises a first engaging device, a push button, a second engaging device, a first elastic device and a second elastic device. The push button is formed with a through hole and a first engaging portion. The second engaging device passes through the through hole and is disposed with a second engaging portion. When the first engaging portion engages the second engaging portion, the front end of the first engaging portion abuts the front end of the second engaging portion such that the second engaging device engages the first engaging device and is prevented from moving.
Abstract:
A hand tool having: a head provided at an end thereof with an arcuate face and a handle, connected to the head to allow rotational movement in relation to the head. The handle is formed with a first receiving hole, a second receiving hole and a third receiving hole communicating with the second receiving hole. A positioning and locking joint, including: a first stop mechanism is received in the first receiving hole, and has an end constantly urged against one of a plurality of teeth formed on the arcuate face of the head. A second stop mechanism is received in the second receiving hole and has an end selectively engaging one of the teeth on the arcuate face of the head An operative pin is received in the third receiving hole for controlling the second stop mechanism to engage with or disengage from one of the teeth.
Abstract:
A hand tool having an adjustable head with a joint lock mechanism comprises a head having a rear end and a handle having a front end pivotally coupled to the rear end of the head. The handle has a first aperture longitudinally extending at the front end thereof and a second aperture is formed perpendicularly intersecting the first aperture. The joint lock mechanism is disposed between the rear end of the head and the front end of the handle and further comprises: a first engaging device disposed at the rear end of the head; a second engaging device received in the first aperture, the second engaging device having a front end and a rear end; a pull button received in the second aperture; and a first elastic device received in the first aperture such that the second engaging device is provided with a forward force to engage the front end of the second engaging device with the first engaging device; characterised in that: the push button is formed with a through hole and provided with a first engaging portion being disposed beneath the through hole; the second engaging device passes through the push button and abuts against the first elastic device; the second engaging device is disposed with a second engaging portion and a second elastic device is disposed at the bottom of the push button such that the push button is provided with an upward force to engage the first engaging portion with the second engaging portion.
