Abstract: Described is an apparatus of an Evolved Node-B (eNB). The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry and a second circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to determine a first Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) sequence and a second SRS sequence. The second circuitry may be operable to process a first Uplink (UL) transmission from the first UE incorporating the first SRS sequence over a first set of subcarrier frequencies. The second circuitry may also be operable to process a second UL transmission from the second UE incorporating the second SRS sequence over a second set of subcarrier frequencies. The second SRS sequence may comprise at least a first block that overlaps the first set of subcarrier frequencies and a second block that does not overlap the first set of subcarrier frequencies.

Abstract: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate reduced density CSI (Channel State Information)-RS (Reference Signals). One example embodiment can be employed at a UE (User Equipment) and can comprise processing circuitry configured to receive and process a configuration message that comprises one or more configuration parameters for one or more CSI (Channel State Information)-RS (Reference Signal) APs (Antenna Ports) of a configurable density CSI-RS. The configuration parameters indicate a density of CSI-RS resource per Physical Resource Block (PRB) per CSI-RS AP and a PRB offset. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine a set of REs (Resource Elements) for the one or more CSI-RS APs of the configurable density CSI-RS based on the one or more configuration parameters and perform measurements on the configurable density CSI-RS from the set of REs to determine one or more CSI parameters. The one or more configuration parameters are provided per CSI-RS resource configuration.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are described for methods and apparatus for carrying out wireless communication using Long Term Evolution (LTE) in a frequency band with low peak-to-average-power. The approach includes precoding, in the frequency domain, a plurality of physical channel signals, followed by multiplexing, where the procoding is performed according to predetermined codes with a code length selected based on a length of an entire signal of the multiplexed precoded plurality of physical channel signals. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry configured to decode control information of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) received via a resource within a control resource set (CORESET) occupying a subset of a plurality of OFDM symbols within a slot. At least one of the symbols in the subset coincides with a pre-defined symbol location associated with a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) of a PDSCH. The DM-RS can be detected within the slot, the DM-RS starting at a symbol location that is shifted from the pre-defined symbol location and following the subset of symbols. Downlink data scheduled by the PDCCH and received via the PDSCH can be decoded, where the decoding is based on the detected DM-RS.

Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE) and methods of communication are generally described herein. If a higher layer parameter altMCS-Table is configured, and a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) is assigned by a downlink control information (DCI) format 1, 1B, 1D, 2, 2A, 2B, 2C, or 2D, the UE may, for some subframe/frame configurations, determine a number of physical resource blocks (PRBs) for the transport block as a maximum of: 1; and a floor function applied to a product of a total number of allocated PRBs, a parameter dependent on a special subframe configuration, and a scaling parameter. For other subframe/frame configurations, the UE may determine the number of PRBs for the transport block as a maximum of: 1; and the floor function applied to a product of the total number of allocated PRBs and the scaling parameter.
