    Abstract: A device of a New Radio (NR) User Equipment (UE), a system, a method and a machine-readable medium. The device includes a radio frequency (RF) interface, and a processing circuitry coupled to the RF interface, the processing circuitry to: decode a message from a NR Node B (gNodeB), the message corresponding to a unicast message or to a broadcast message and being received through a Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) interface (Uu interface), the message further including reference time information; and determine a reference time from the reference time information, the reference time to be used by higher layers of the UE.

A described technique includes receiving, by a User Equipment (UE) via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), a downlink control information (DCI) message in a Control Resource Set (CORESET) configured with a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state, the TCI state being associated with a transmission reception point (TRP), the DCI message comprising a downlink preemption indication for the TCI state; and applying preemption to a reference signal or a channel associated with the TCI state responsive to the downlink preemption indication.

    Abstract: User equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry, where to configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications in an unlicensed spectrum, the processing circuitry is to decode a first configuration message received from a base station, the first configuration message including a channel quality indicator (CQI) table indication identifying a CQI table. A second configuration message is decoded, the second configuration message received separately from the first configuration message and including a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table indication identifying an MCS table. DCI received via a PDCCH is decoded, the DCI providing a DL grant and an MCS index in the MCS table. DL information received via a PDSCH is decoded using modulation order and target code rate corresponding to the MCS index in the MCS table.

The network device can also process or generate one or more multiple Configuration-Grant (CG) PUSCH configurations. The presence of a repetition level bit-field in a Downlink Control Information (DCI) carrying UL grant or activating UL configured grant PUSCH can be controlled by semi-static UE-specific RRC signaling enabling or disabling the dynamic signaling of PUSCH repetitions.
