    摘要: According to various aspects, systems and methods are provided for secure communication between a passive sensor node and a reader. A passive sensor node may be used for monitoring in a variety of situations. A reader may power the passive sensor while communicating with the passive sensor. In some scenarios, it may be necessary or desirable to provide security between the passive sensor and the reader. According to one aspect, the reader may send a first message initiating communication with the passive sensor, which may respond with a second message including encrypted data. An authorized reader may decrypt the data and respond with data encrypted based on the second message in a third message, which may be used by the device to authenticate the reader.

    摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a measurement module for measurement of a multi-electrode resistive sensing element with improved noise performance and accuracy. In some embodiments, stimulation to the sensing element is provided by a current path that originates from a signal source, through a switch block, through a pair of terminals, and ending at a reference node such as ground. An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is coupled directly to one or both of the terminals to digitize a voltage. The ADC is coupled to terminals on the sensing element to measure a sensed voltage signal before the sensed signal goes through the switch block. As a result, the measured voltage signal may be free of noise that could be picked up from passing through the switch block, and accuracy of the resistance measurements on the sensing element can be improved.

In particular, a multi-sensor platform is provided that acts as an intermediary node and can communicate with multiple integrity sensors. The integrity sensors are each coupled via a wired connection to the multi-sensor platform, and the multi-sensor platform is powered wirelessly by a radiofrequency transmitter. The radiofrequency transmitter can receive data from multiple sensors via one node, the multi-sensor platform, thus allowing the radiofrequency transmitter to have a static transmission beam.
