    摘要: A non-destructive testing system includes a test article interface and a reference article interface. The test article interface includes a connector to couple to a metal component of an article under test (AUT) and a connector to couple to a carbon fiber composite component of the AUT. The reference article interface includes a connector to couple to a metal component of a reference article (REF) and a connector to couple to a carbon fiber composite component of the REF. The system also includes sensors to generate signals based on voltage and current thermoelectrically induced between the test article interface and the reference article interface, where the current and the voltage are based on a temperature difference between the AUT and the REF. The system also includes a processor to generate, based on the signals, an output indicating whether the AUT is expected to pass a lightning strike test.

    摘要: Kelvin (4-wire) connecting cables are routinely used when performing dynamic measurements (i.e., measurements with time-varying signals) on electrochemical cells and batteries. Current-carrying and voltage-sensing conductor pairs within such cables comprise distributed-parameter two-wire transmission lines which may extend several meters in length. As with all such transmission lines, internally reflected waves can oscillate back and forth at high frequency (hf) whenever the lines are not terminated in their characteristic impedances. Such hf reflected waves, by interacting with measuring circuitry, can seriously degrade low-frequency measurement accuracy. Apparatus is disclosed herein that suppresses hf reflected waves oscillating on Kelvin connecting cables during dynamic measurements of cells and batteries.

    摘要: A temperature measuring instrument is provided with a testing switch that controls a supply of a first constant current to a first signal line from a first constant current source and a supply of a second constant current to a second signal line from a second constant current source. When a temperature is being measured, the first and second constant currents are supplied respectively to the first and second signal lines. When testing connection statuses of the first signal line, the second signal line and a third signal line, the supply of the first and second constant currents are stopped temporarily, to change a report from a current detecting/reporting portion, provided in a temperature sensor, for detecting and reporting whether or not there is a return current to the temperature measuring instrument from the third signal line.

Furthermore, a method for measuring a winding resistance of windings in delta-connected transformers includes the steps of applying a first and a second measuring current to each one of two corresponding legs, applying a third measuring current between two nodes of a pair of windings on the secondary side and measuring at least a winding resistance of the winding between said nodes on the secondary side of the transformer and/or the winding resistance of a leg of the primary side as soon as an inductive voltage drop in the windings substantially equals zero.
