    摘要: The scissors for cutting filamentary material, especially hair, include two shanks (4) pivotally connected to each other at a pivot joint (2); respective blades (7) for cutting the filamentary material extending from the shanks (4) and an electrically powered vibrator (5) for vibrating one of the shanks in a longitudinal direction at an ultrasonic frequency and with a displacement of about 100 to 200 &mgr;m. The pivot joint (2) includes a nail (14) extending from one shank, an eccentric washer (15) embedded in the other shank which engages around the nail and a miniature motor (17) for rotating the washer (15) and the shank in which it is embedded. In other embodiments the electrically powered vibrator (5) include a piezoelectric transducer (8) arranged to connect a shank to one of the blades or an exciter coil (19) wrapped around a strut region made of a magnetostrictive material in one shank.

This split end removing device includes first and second parallel hair strand guiding sections (4,5) and a third hair strand guiding section (6) removably positionable in a working position (A) between the first and second sections (4,5). The parallel sections (4,5,6) are formed so that a hair strand (7) placed under the first and second sections (4,5) is grasped from below by the third section (6) in its working position and the attachment (3) is held fixed on the haircutting machine (2) so that only split ends (9) are cut away from the hair strand. The third hair strand guiding section (6) is a separate part (10) that is completely removable from a remaining portion of the device (1). It has a handle section (12), comb teeth (13) and a parting tip (15).

    摘要: The holder releasably receives and holds a rechargeable tool portion and is associated with a cable electrically connecting the tool portion for line-powered operation or battery-powered operation with a current source. The holder has a shell-like rest enclosing a lower portion of the tool portion and is structured to be changeable from a first configuration, in which the tool portion is supported by the holder and is removable for battery-powered operation, to a second configuration, in which the tool portion with the holder attached can be used for line-powered operation. The holder has a first leg extending longitudinally along a larger part of one side of the tool portion when the tool portion is in the holder, a second leg pivotally connected to one end of the first leg and acting as a supporting limb and a spreading spring connected to the second leg to urge the second leg from the first leg into a spread position so the tool portion and holder can stand together on a surface during battery charging. The second leg is provided with a plurality of catches engagable in cavities in the tool portion when the second leg is engaged with the first leg to form a compact structure together with the tool portion during line-powered operation.
