Abstract:
A spray quantity adjustable foam/liquid dual-purpose distribution device includes a gas compressor, a first control valve, a liquid accumulator, a second control valve, and a foam generation device that are connected to each other. The gas compressor compresses gas to generate the pressurized gas that is fed into the first control valve to be further supplied into the liquid accumulator or the foam generation device. When the pressurized gas is supplied to the liquid accumulator, the internal pressure of the liquid accumulator is increased to force liquid contained in the liquid accumulator to be fed into the second control valve, which, once opened, allows the liquid to be supplied to the foam generation device, so that the pressurized gas and the liquid are mixed in the foam generation device to generate a foamed liquid that is discharged out through an egress opening.
Abstract:
Apparatus for converting a powered air blower to a sprayer is disclosed. The apparatus comprises at least one discharge port terminating in a nozzle and at least one clamp, such as an alligator jaw. The clamp may open in a direction away from a direction of discharge from each nozzle. The clamp and the at least one discharge port may be mounted on a chassis having a configuration of a tube. A feed conduit is in fluid communication with each of the discharge port. Where there is more than one discharge port, the feed conduit splits to supply each discharge port. In an embodiment, there is one discharge port having a direction of discharge and an associated axis, and at least two clamps symmetrically disposed about the axis. The apparatus may be clamped to a discharge conduit of the blower.
Abstract:
An assembly is provided for the controlled delivery of a two-component adhesive material that is moisture-labile, having a power supply powering a two-chambered pump for the metered delivery of the adhesive and a delivery gun for mixing the two-components at the point of delivery. In order to enable exposure to ambient, moisture-laden air while using large drums of adhesive material, at least one dual-apertured, desiccant cannister is provided sealably interfaced at an intake port on each of the drums A second aperture is provided on the desiccant cannister which is open to such ambient air. The second aperture is of a diameter sufficient to provide the influx of a necessary volume of air through the cannister(s) to accommodate the synchronized delivery of the two-component adhesive through the delivery gun. The desiccant is preferably calcium sulfate. Cobalt chloride is added to show a color change when the desiccant is saturated to enable recharge and/or replacement. The diameter of the aperture is between 0.325 and 0.4 inches, and preferably 0.37 inches to enable uniform flow through the gun.18
Abstract:
A device for generating a scented mist of an atomized liquid fragrance oil includes an atomizer complex, a reservoir assembly, a drainage tube, and a vacuum tube. The atomizer complex can atomize the liquid fragrance oil into a scented mist and deliver the scented mist to air outside of the atomizer complex, where the liquid fragrance oil the fragrance oil that is not atomized into the scented mist delivered to the air outside of the atomizer complex includes collected oil that is collected and drained to a reservoir assembly. A drainage tube extends from a bottom area of the atomizer complex into the liquid fragrance oil. The device can filter the liquid fragrance oil in the reservoir assembly and the collected oil from the atomizer complex that drained down the drainage tube. The vacuum tube can suction the filtered liquid fragrance oil and the collected oil into the atomizer complex for atomization.
Abstract:
A drug delivery device mainly has a housing, which can be easily held and operated. The housing has one end formed with an adjustment seat capable of adjusting a range distance, and the other end connected to a gas pressure control source for providing mainstream and substream gas pressures. Disposed in the housing are a drug delivery pressuring tube, an embedded drug-can connecting seat or an external drug-can connecting seat, a replaceable drug-can container and a gas communication tube. According to this design, the minor liquid drug can be controlled, the drug-can can be replaced and the continuous quantitative injection of drug can be made. Also, all damaged or dirty members of the invention may be disassembled, cleaned or replaced.
Abstract:
A portable, self-contained powered sprayer to produce a foam effluent spray from a liquid. The sprayer includes segregated air and liquid delivery systems that separately supply air and liquid to a mixing chamber. The liquid delivery system may include a pump for pumping liquid from a tank to the mixing chamber via a liquid supply line. The air delivery system may include a compressor for supplying pressurized air to the mixing chamber via an air supply line. The mixing chamber may be defined within a flow controller. In one embodiment, the sprayer includes control circuit for engaging and disengaging the pump and the compressor in response to operation of the flow controller. The control circuit may include a pressure switch operatively connected to the liquid supply line to trigger operation of the pump and the compressor in response to pressure within the liquid supply line.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a gene gun and its application for genetic transformation, medical therapeutic or cosmetic purposes. Particular designs of the gene gun allow the biological materials to be delivered to the plant epidermal cellular tissues, the skin of an animal or human-being via a solution or a pre-mixed with the high pressure gas loading system. Moreover, the biological materials delivered by the gene gun are applied either in encapsulated nanoparticles or in the free form without using particle carriers.
Abstract:

Abstract:
An apparatus for adapting a blower system to the dispersing of liquid material is partially housed within an extension tube of a portable blower and includes a pressurizing tub with an inlet for accepting airflow discharged by the blower. The pressurizing tube discharges into a liquid container thus increasing pressure within the container. An extraction tube exits the container and meets a Venturi tube that also accepts airflow discharge by the blower. A vacuum is created in the extraction tube through first and second apertures that allow fluid communication between the Venturi tube and the extraction tube. The vacuum created in the extraction tube extracts liquid from the liquid container and the liquid is drawn out of the extraction tube through the Venturi hole into the Venturi tube mixing with air flowing there through and discharging into airflow by-passing the spray adapter apparatus.
Abstract:
A consumer product passage incorporating a mixing chamber for mixing air and liquid. Consumer packages of the present invention are capable of providing excellent spray qualities at typical consumer product flow rates (e.g., less than about 1.0 cubic centimeters per second) while simultaneously maintaining relatively low air to liquid ratios (e.g., less than about 0.06:1 on a mass basis) and relatively low pressures (e.g., less than about 50 psi). The package of the present invention also offers significant environmental and safety advantages. For example, it does not depend upon dissolved propellants; and it permits the use of water in place of volatile solvents as thinning agents since high surface tension fluids are actually sprayed better. Several packages of the present invention are illustrated, including a standard aerosol version, pump and spray versions, and a finger pump version.
