    摘要: An apparatus for measuring skin permeable gas, which can be used to obtain clinical information by noninvasive and bloodless operations and are useful for in-home medical care and health management. The device for collecting skin permeable gas includes a cylindrical member including a spiral groove, a cover disposed on the upper surface of the cylindrical member, a gas-introducing section connected to the cover, a gas delivery section connected to the cover, and a sealing member for sealing the groove of the cylindrical member and for maintaining air contained in the groove at a predetermined temperature. After components in the air maintained at a predetermined temperature are analyzed, the sealing member is detached from the cylindrical member and the cylindrical member from which the sealing member is detached is then brought into intimate contact with skin of a subject to collect the skin permeable gas.

    摘要: An engine without a compressor or a turbine comprises a combustion chamber for burning a fuel-air mixture formed by mixing a fuel with outside air; and an outside air introduction part for introducing outside air into the combustion chamber. The outside air introduction part comprises an intake main port for introducing outside air into the combustion chamber from the direction along the central axis of the combustion chamber and a plurality of intake sub-ports for introducing outside air into the combustion chamber from the direction toward the central axis. The intake sub-ports comprise ejection openings capable of ejecting outside air toward a collision point inside the combustion chamber. Streams of outside air ejected from the ejection openings of the intake sub-ports mutually collide at the collision point and are thereby compressed.

    摘要: A fuel injection valve includes a valve body to which liquid to be injected is supplied. A nozzle tip is connected with an end portion of the valve body. A valve member is installed in the valve body to stop and start a supply of the liquid to the nozzle tip. The nozzle tip has first and second nozzle holes which are formed so that fluid injected through the first nozzle hole is collided with fluid injected through the second nozzle hole and that a ratio between a square root of a cross-sectional area of the first nozzle hole and a square root of a cross-sectional area of the second nozzle hole is within a range 1.25 to 3.5. Therefore, the collided fuel is effectively atomized as a result of a resonance phenomenon by the collision.

    摘要: A fuel injection nozzle for spraying a swirl of fuel, includes a nozzle body having a bore, an orifice communicated with the bore, and a wall defining the bore and the orifice. The bore for receiving an axially movable valve body has a first center axis and the orifice has a second center axis. An inlet open to the bore and an outlet open to outside the nozzle body. The wall includes a first circumferential edge portion defining the inlet of the orifice and a second circumferential edge portion defining the outlet of the orifice. A sprayed fuel body formed by fuel discharged from said orifice, has a third center axis. The first circumferential edge portion is so arranged as to allow the first center axis to be positioned inside the inlet. The second circumferential edge portion is so contoured as to allow at least a portion of the second circumferential edge portion to be out of a plane normal to the second center axis.
