Abstract: Systems and methods are provided and include a computer terminal located at a flooring store that receives a measured color of a flooring product. A server receives paint product catalog information from a computer system located at a coating manufacturer facility, determines paint colors that coordinate with the flooring product based on the paint product catalog information, and runs a paint product ordering application that interacts with a web browser of the computer terminal. The computer terminal receives a paint product ordering web page from the server that enables a user to create an order for a paint product based on a selected paint color and transmits the order to the server. The server receives the order and communicates the order to the computer system at the coating manufacturer facility. The computer system receives the order for order fulfillment, including creating, packing, and shipping the paint product to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure include a server configured to provide an application to a remote computing device. The application is configured to display color sheen chips that represent a paint sheen on a display of the remote computing device and to receive input to control a cursor displayed on the display. The application is further configured to enlarge a particular color sheen chip on the display in response to the cursor being controlled to hover over the particular color sheen chip and to pivot the particular color sheen chip on the display about a central axis of the particular color sheen chip in response to the cursor being controlled to move back and forth over the particular color sheen chip to enhance displayed characteristics of the paint sheen associated with the particular color sheen chip.

Abstract: Systems and methods for color selection are provided and include a non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, configure the computing device to receive an image and determine a dominant color for the image by dividing the image into pixel groups, analyzing pixels in each of the pixel groups at different sample rates based on how close the pixel group is to the center of the image with pixel groups closer to the center of the image having a higher sample rate, and determining the dominant color for the image based on the analyzed pixels in each of the pixel groups. The instructions further configure the computing device to determine a closest matching paint color for the dominant color for the image and display a color name or a color code associated with the closest matching paint color for the dominant color.
