Abstract: An access point in a wireless network communicates wirelessly with one or more client devices over a channel that includes a plurality of subchannels. Radar is detected on a first subchannel of the plurality of subchannels. It is determined to puncture the first subchannel, based on the detecting the radar on the first subchannel and based on one or more puncturing factors. The first subchannel is punctured, the puncturing comprising muting one or more subcarriers on the first subchannel.

The device may obtain traffic telemetry data regarding network traffic handled by the access point. Abstract: Hybrid ranging may be provided. A coverage environment may be divided into a plurality of areas and a corresponding plurality accuracy gradients for each of the plurality of areas may be determined. Passive ranging may be implemented for ones of the plurality of areas that have a high accuracy gradient and one of a high client device density and low client device movement. Active ranging may be implemented for ones of the plurality of areas that have a low client device density. Based on at least one of a level of client device density and movement speed of client devices, switching may be performed between passive ranging and active ranging for ones of the plurality of areas that have at least one of high client device density and high client device movement.

Abstract: Dynamic configuration of Overlapping Basic Set Service Preamble Detect (OBSS/PD) parameters for an Access Point (AP) may be provided. First, a plurality of stations within a Spatial Reuse (SR) range of the AP may be determined. Next, Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) calculations associated with the plurality of stations may be performed to determine an SINR impact on the plurality of stations if the AP performs an SR transmission given OBSS/PD parameters currently configured for the AP. Then, based on the SINR calculations, the OBSS/PD parameters for the AP may be dynamically adjusted.

Abstract: The method comprises, at a multiple endpoint power level orchestrator, assigning a first group identifier to a first endpoint device and assigning a second group identifier to a second endpoint device. The first endpoint device includes a first directional antenna and the second endpoint device includes a second directional antenna. Moreover, the first directional antenna provides a first coverage area and the second directional antenna provides a second coverage area. Additionally, the first and second coverage areas provide an overlapping coverage area. The method further includes obtaining a first collision report including the first group identifier from the first endpoint device and obtaining a second collision report including the second group identifier from the second endpoint device. The method further includes providing respective transmission power level adjustments to one or more of the first or second endpoint devices according to satisfaction of a performance metric.

Abstract: Embodiments herein describe using a dual assess point (AP) to establish two access points that both are established by two individual radios (e.g., two 5 GHz radios). Generally, APs experience highly degraded performance when two co-located radios operate within the same band. In one embodiment, AP devices can deploy same band radios using a macro-micro cell approach. Thus, the AP may intelligently hand off client devices between the micro and macro cell in a way that optimizes the system for overall throughput and low packet latency while creating minimal oscillation of clients between cells. The embodiments in this disclosure disclose techniques that direct clients in a manner that optimizes these factors.

Abstract: Coordinated Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM) Transmission Opportunity (TXOP) sharing may be provided by determining that at least two Access Points (APs) of a wireless network support coordinated FDM TXOP sharing. In response to the determination that the at least two APs support coordinated FDM TXOP sharing, at least one of: a first bias is applied to a channel assignment algorithm to promote an assignment of overlapping channels of the at least two APs, and a second bias is applied to the channel assignment algorithm to promote an assignment of adjacent channels of the at least two APs. Next, channels are assigned to the at least two APs based on an output of the channel assignment algorithm.

Abstract: Optimization of radio communications of a wireless network of a local site may be provided. A probe frame or an association frame may be received from a Client Device (CD) operating in the local site that identifies at least one operating class and Multi-Link (ML) capability information of the CD. Channel information of at least one Access Point (AP) having ML capability in the local site may be embedded in a probe response frame or in an association response frame based on the at least one operating class and the ML capability information of the CD. The probe response frame or the association response frame that includes the channel information of the at least one AP having ML capability in the local site may be transmitted, as unicast, to the CD.
