    Abstract: A satellite radiowave receiving device includes a receiver performing a receiving operation of radiowaves transmitted from a positioning satellite and a processor controlling a positioning operation. The processor performs the positioning operation within at least a predetermined maximum positioning interval from a last positioning operation using preliminarily obtained date and time information and valid positional information on the positioning satellite to obtain a current position of the satellite radiowave receiving device and date and time information. The processor causes the receiver to perform the receiving operation within at least a predetermined date and time updating interval shorter than the predetermined maximum positioning interval from a last time when date and time information is obtained from radiowaves transmitted from a positioning satellite to obtain date and time information without the positioning operation.

    Abstract: Provided is an electronic device includes an oscillator circuit that outputs a clock signal of predetermined frequency, a clock circuit that counts date and time in accordance with input of the clock signal, a temperature sensor that measures a temperature relating to a change of the predetermined frequency, a receiver that receives a radio wave from a positioning satellite, and a first processor and/or a second processor. The first processor and/or the second processor estimates an amount of time count difference in date and time counted by the clock circuit on the basis of a history of temperatures measured by the temperature sensor, and combines date and time counted by the clock circuit, the estimated amount of time count difference, and part of date-and-time information obtained from a radio wave received by the receiver to identify current date and time.

    Abstract: A satellite radio wave receiving device includes: a receiver that receives a satellite radio wave to identify a reception signal; and a processor that acquires primary date and time information from the identified reception signal and outputs a date and time notifying signal indicating date and time based on the primary date and time information to an outside of the satellite radio wave receiving device. The date and time notifying signal includes at least a timing notifying signal indicating a predetermined timing. The processor determines the predetermined timing without consideration of a timing of a second synchronization point which is a leading edge of every second in the date and time based on the primary date and time information, and outputs the timing notifying signal at the predetermined timing.

    Abstract: A magnetic field measuring apparatus includes a first processor, a second processor, a motion sensor and a magnetic field sensor. The second processor has higher processing capability than the first processor. The first processor makes the second processor perform certain processing. When it is determined that the state of motion measured by the motion sensor is at a predetermined level or more, the second processor performs a magnetic field correction setting operation as one of the certain processing. The magnetic field correction setting operation involves retrieving measurement values of magnetic field from the magnetic field sensor which are measured at different postures according to a change of the state of motion, and determining an offset correction value for the geomagnetic field based on the measurement values.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a magnetic sensor which detects a magnetic field around the electronic device and outputs magnetic data in accordance with the magnetic field detected by the magnetic sensor, a position acquiring section which acquires position information regarding a geographic position of the electronic device, and a processing unit. The processing unit acquires, from the position acquiring section, specific position information for a specific position of the electronic device when an output vector of the magnetic data is oriented to a magnetic pole direction of the earth, derives a geomagnetic vector at the specific position based on the specific position information, and acquires an offset value based on a comparison between the geomagnetic vector and the output vector.
