    Abstract: A satellite radio wave receiving device including: one or more processors configured to: cause a receiver to start a receiving operation of receiving radio waves from positioning satellites; perform a current position calculation to calculate a current position based on the radio waves received; calculate a positioning accuracy of the current position; decide whether or not to adopt the current position based on a number of positioning satellites from which the receiver has received radio waves and the positioning accuracy; in response to deciding to adopt the current position, cause the receiver to stop the receiving operation; and in response to deciding to not adopt the current position, cause the receiver to continue the receiving operation of receiving radio waves from the positioning satellites and repeat performance of the current position calculation to calculate current positions based on the radio waves received during the continued receiving operation.

    Abstract: A processor of a satellite radio wave receiving device processes radio waves received by a receiver to identify a bit value in each of divided unit time segments that are obtained by dividing a time period of one bit into a plurality of unit time segments of equal duration; creates a bit array having the identified bit values in respective divided unit time segments by sequentially arranging the identified bit values in an order of receipt, the one or more processors creating said bit array in a plurality by successively shifting a time at which the bit array starts by one unit time segment; and performs a bit edge detection operation by detecting a head timing of the bit data at which a bit value changes in the received radio waves based on said plurality of bit value arrays.

    Abstract: A satellite radiowave receiving device includes a receiver performing a receiving operation of radiowaves transmitted from a positioning satellite and a processor controlling a positioning operation. The processor performs the positioning operation within at least a predetermined maximum positioning interval from a last positioning operation using preliminarily obtained date and time information and valid positional information on the positioning satellite to obtain a current position of the satellite radiowave receiving device and date and time information. The processor causes the receiver to perform the receiving operation within at least a predetermined date and time updating interval shorter than the predetermined maximum positioning interval from a last time when date and time information is obtained from radiowaves transmitted from a positioning satellite to obtain date and time information without the positioning operation.

    Abstract: A satellite radio wave receiving processing unit 60 includes a front end 60a which receives a radio wave including a code signal transmitted from a satellite, and a baseband unit 64 which acquires the code signal from the received radio wave, in which the baseband unit identifies a pseudo-random code sequence used for performing spread spectrum to the code signal and a phase of the pseudo-random code sequence in a transmission period, identifies a code type of the code signal every time according to the transmission period, identifies, by comparing an array of the identified code type with a plurality of comparison arrays expected to appear as the array of the code type, a head timing of each code in the code signal according to a comparison array in which a result of the comparison satisfies a predetermined condition, and identifies each code in synchronization with the identified head timing.
