摘要: A remote controlled lift assembly includes a pair of supports is each mountable to a respective outrigger of scaffolding. A winch unit is positionable on the supports when the supports are mounted on the scaffolding and the winch unit has a cable extending downwardly therefrom. The cable is lowered or lifted when the winch is actuated. A receiver is coupled to the winch unit and the receiver is in electrical communication with the winch unit. A remote control is provided that is carried by a user and the remote control is in wireless electrical communication with the receiver. In this way the user can remotely lift and lower the cable for lifting and lowering cargo.

摘要: This invention provides a membrane-mediated electropolishing process for polishing and/or planarizing metal work pieces. The work piece is wetted with a low-conductivity fluid. The wetted work piece is contacted with a first side of a charge-selective ion-conducting membrane, wherein the second side contacts a conductive electrolyte solution in electrical contact with a cathode. Current flow between the cathode and the work piece electropolishes metal from the work piece. This process can be used for both pure metals and alloys, and provides several significant advantages over conventional electropolishing processes. This invention also provides an apparatus useful in the membrane-mediated electropolishing process.

摘要: This invention provides membrane-mediated electropolishing (MMEP) processes for polishing and/or planarizing metal work pieces using topographically patterned membranes. The processes can be used for both pure metals and alloys, and provide advantages over conventional electropolishing processes and known MMEP processes using smooth membranes. This invention also provides a cathode half-cell and an apparatus useful in membrane-mediated electropolishing processes. The invention also provides processes for electroengraving and electromachining topographic patterns, holes and/or grooves into the surface of a metal work piece.

摘要: A shelving apparatus for incorporation in conventional cabinet structures commonly referred to as "lockers" for providing supplementary shelves therein, including a shelf support plate adapted for upstanding disposition on the locker floor to extend along its rear wall in contact therewith and one or more shelves adapted to be engaged by tabs thereon in corresponding slots in the support plate and being of a greater longitudinal dimension than the depth-wise dimension of the locker so as to extend from the support plate at an upward incline and to resting braced engagement with the flanges laterally adjacent the locker door at the forward side of the locker. The apparatus may be retrofit into conventional existing lockers or incorporated in the construction of new lockers to provide greater storage organizational capabilities therein.
