Abstract:
An electrical connector includes a base and a plurality of terminals. The base has a plurality of separately disposed terminal slots. The terminals are respectively assembled in the terminal slots of the base and integrally formed by pressing a metal sheet. Each of the terminals includes an elastic arm having a projecting contact, a fixing portion fixed in the terminal slot, and a pin portion extending out of the base. The base is formed with a resting surface corresponding to each of the terminal slots. The elastic arm of the terminal is formed with a laterally protruding supporting foot resting against the resting surface of the base to make the contacts of the terminals be located at the same level.
Abstract:
An electrical connection socket structure, into which a plug is inserted, includes a plastic base having a hole, terminals disposed in the plastic base, and an insulation block. Each terminal has a pin located below the plastic base and an elastic arm formed with a contact. The terminals comprise a first terminal and a second terminal both having the contacts that may contact or be separated from each other. The insulation block disposed in the plastic base has a contact slant and can move the elastic arm of the first terminal. When the plug is inserted into the hole, the plug pushes the contact slant and moves the insulation block to press the elastic arm of the first terminal such that the contact of the first terminal is electrically connected to or disconnected from the contact of the second terminal after the contacts rubs against each other by a distance.
Abstract:
A chip connector to be electrically connected to a chip. The chip connector includes an inner seat, terminals and an outer seat. The inner seat is formed with a plurality of terminal slots and a placement area in which the chip is placed. The terminals are respectively disposed in the terminal slots. Each terminal has an elastic arm, which has a connection point to be electrically connected to the chip. The outer seat has a bottom surface, a circumferential wall for enclosing the inner seat, a front end formed with a stationary pressing board for pressing a front end of the chip longitudinally, and two elastic arm portions extending backwards and formed at two sides of the outer seat. The elastic arm portions press the chip longitudinally and are elastically moved laterally to part from the chip.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes two floating bases, an outer casing and a positioning structure. The floating bases may be moved vertically. One row of terminals is disposed on each floating base. Each terminal has an elastic contact and a pin to be bonded to a circuit board. The outer casing engages with the floating bases and covers a top and two sides of each floating base. The positioning structure is disposed on the outer casing and each floating base to make each floating base movable only in a vertical direction.
Abstract:
An electrical connector having a terminal crossing over two adjacent terminal slots includes a base formed with terminal slots, and terminals disposed in the terminal slots. Each terminal has a fixing portion, an elastic arm and a pin. The fixing portion is clamped and positioned by the slot. The elastic arm has a lower arm and an upper arm. A bottom of the lower arm is connected to a bottom of the fixing portion. The lower arm extends from bottom to top. A top of the lower arm and the fixing portion define a gap. The upper arm extends, from the top of the lower arm, slantingly upwards through a top of the fixing portion to the adjacent terminal slot. A connection point is disposed near a distal end of the upper arm. The pin is positioned under the fixing portion and extends over a bottom of the base.
Abstract:
A lug engagement structure for an electrical connector. The connector includes a plastic base formed with a receiving slot. The structure can engage with a lateral engagement hole of a circuit board inserted into the electrical connector. The structure includes a board removing component pivoted to the base and rotatable within the slot. A push block extending forward and pressing against the circuit board is arranged on a bottom of the component. A pressing portion and an engagement portion extending forward are arranged on a top of the component. The engagement portion engages with the lateral engagement hole of the circuit board, and the pressing portion can be elastically moved up and down and has a resistant plate. The base has an engagement arm elastically engaging with the component. When the pressing portion is pressed down, the resistant plate is caused to push the arm to separate from and disengage with the component.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes a housing formed with at least one row of terminal-receiving cavities and a plurality of terminals. Each of the terminals has a horizontal terminal part which is received in a corresponding one of the cavities and a vertical terminal part which is perpendicular to the horizontal terminal part. The housing has a rear wall which is formed with a horizontally extending supporting rib that is located below the cavities and that has a free end. The vertical terminal parts of the terminals abut against the free end of the supporting ribs so as to ensure the vertical terminal parts of the terminals to be coplanar. The ribs include outer slot portions that receive vertical terminal parts and inner slot portions that receive contact protrusions.
Abstract:
An upright battery seat for a button battery includes a base and positive and negative terminals each having an elastic arm located in a slot and electrically connected to the battery, a positioning portion positioned with the base, and a pin portion extending out of the base. The base has a circumferential wall and a longitudinal placement surface to form the slot. The wall is formed with an opening and first and second engagement portions. The first and second engagement portions engage with two side edges of the battery. The first engagement portion has an engaging surface substantially perpendicular to an inner surface of the wall. The arm of the positive terminal projects over the inner surface and enables one side of the battery to engage with the engaging surface. When the battery is pressed down, the side edge of the battery can escape from the engaging surface without locking.
Abstract:
An electrical connector to be electrically connected to a plug includes a plastic base, a metal housing and an engaging element. A connection slot and terminals are formed on the base. Each terminal has a pin portion extending out of the plastic base. The metal housing covers the plastic base while exposing the connection slot and the pin portions. The engaging element has a fixing part and an elastic engaging piece which is located within the connection slot. A projecting engaging portion, which is near a distal end of the engaging element and engages with the plug, is formed. The metal housing is composed of a thin metal plate which is bent. The engaging element and the metal housing pertain to different parts. A thickness of the engaging element is greater than that of the metal housing. The engaging element is assembled in the plastic base through the fixing part.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes a base, terminals and a cover. The base is formed with terminal slots for receiving the terminals, and one connection portion having an open end into which a flexible circuit interface may be inserted. A pushing plate is formed above the connection portion. A first elastic arm is formed with a connection point extending to the connection portion. The terminals are electrically connected to the inserted interface. The metal cover has a handle and a pressing plate. Two sides of the cover are formed with projecting pivoting portions pivoting onto two sides of the connection portion. The pressing plate may extend into the connection portion to tightly press against the pushing plate and the interface when the cover is rotated downwards. The pressing plate is exposed out of the connection portion to make the pushing plate and the interface loose when the cover is lifted upwards.
