摘要： There is provided a wet wipes dispensing system. The system includes a plurality of separably joined wet wipes and the plurality of separably joined wet wipes include a lubricant. The system also includes a dispenser including a sealed chamber, the sealed chamber housing the plurality of separably joined wet wipes therein. The dispenser also includes a flexible elastic sealing orifice through which wet wipes from the plurality of separably joined wet wipes can be dispensed from the sealed chamber. At least a portion of the lubricant is automatically transferable to the flexible elastic sealing orifice when wet wipes from the plurality of separably joined wet wipes are dispensed from the sealed chamber through the flexible elastic sealing orifice whereby a drag relationship between the wet wipes and the flexible elastic sealing orifice is reduced by at least about 20%.

摘要： A disposable absorbent article is provided which includes a substantially liquid-impermeable outer cover, a liquid permeable bodyside liner, an absorbent body located between the outer cover and the bodyside liner, and a pair of fasteners located on the laterally opposed side edges in one of the waist sections of the absorbent article. The outer cover can be configured to provide a substantially permanent deformation of at least about 10 percent when subjected to a tensile force of 100 gmf per inch (per 2.54 cm) of width according to the Material Elongation and Deformation Tensile Test set forth herein. The outer cover can further define a water vapor transmission rate of at least about 800 g/m2/24 hr. The permanent deformation of the outer cover in use can result in a longitudinal breathability gradient ratio between the outer cover in the waist section and the crotch or intermediate section of the article of at least about 1.25 according to the Product Deformation Test set forth herein.

摘要： A personal care article including a resiliently stretchable outer cover and a substantially nonelastomeric grasping panel attached to the front portion of the article. The outer cover is resiliently stretchable in at least the cross-direction to conform to the body of a wearer. The grasping panel has a sufficient stiffness to allow a user to properly fasten a fastening apparatus onto a landing zone. The stiffness of the grasping panel is sufficient to prevent roll-up or wrinkling of the grasping panels or the front portion of the personal care article. The stiffness of the grasping is not too large such that the comfort of the wearer is compromised. In one embodiment the absorbent structure is secured to the outer cover by extendible attachment elements and the bodyside liner is not secured to the outer cover. In another embodiment the bodyside liner is extensible in at least the cross-direction and secured about the periphery to the outer cover. The absorbent core is located between the bodyside liner and the outer cover. The fastener apparatus, when secured to a landing zone, overlies the absorbent core. In such a way the size of the absorbent core, and the amount of exudates capable of being contained therein, can be maximized. In another embodiment the fastener apparatus can have sufficient Gurley stiffness to prevent roll-up or wrinkling of the fastening apparatus or the rear portion of the personal care article.

摘要： An absorbent article includes at least one fit panel which is located in one of the waist sections of the absorbent article adjacent an end edge of the absorbent article. The fit panel extends laterally beyond both of the side edges of an absorbent chassis of the absorbent article. The fit panel may include a center bridge panel and a pair of laterally opposed side panels which are connected to opposed lateral edges of the bridge panel. Desirably, the bridge panel and side panels provide individual zones of elasticity across the width of the fit panel which have different elastic properties.

摘要： A personal care article includes a resiliently stretchable outer cover. In a first embodiment, a first zone of the outer cover is embossed forming a pattern of embossments providing a first set of desired properties pertaining to stretch of a portion of the outer cover. A second zone of the outer cover is not modified to provide the first set of properties and thus has different stretch properties than the first zone. In a second embodiment, a first panel is secured to a resiliently extensible second panel. A first zone of the second panel can have a pattern of embossments securing the second panel to the first panel. The embossments cause the first zone to have different stretch properties than a second zone of the second panel that is not embossed thereby to impart the set of stretch properties. In a third embodiment the second panel is pre-stretched to a predetermined degree of elongation before securement to the first panel. In use, the personal care article then has a first characteristic load/extension relationship until the article reaches the predetermined degree of elongation and a second load/extension relationship as the article is extended beyond the predetermined degree of elongation of the second panel.

An absorbent composite (32) has first and second longitudinally opposed end regions (78 and 79), and has laterally opposed side regions (80). The absorbent composite also includes a first longitudinally terminal end edge (82). The absorbent composite (32) includes a substantially liquid-impermeable backsheet layer (30), a substantially liquid permeable topsheet layer (28), and a retention portion (48) which is sandwiched between the backsheet and topsheet layers. The article includes at least one, first body panel (52) having a body side surface (54), an outward surface (56), and a panel length (58) which is less than the article length (26). The first body panel (52) also includes a first, outboard terminal end edge (60), and a second, relatively inboard terminal end edge (62). In desired configurations, the first, outboard terminal end edge (60) can be substantially coterminous with a first terminal end edge of the article. An expandable attachment section (90) is joined along at least a portion of each side region (80) of the absorbent composite (32) in the first end region (78) of the absorbent composite. Each expandable attachment section (90) is extendible at least outwardly or at least along the article width (24), and each expandable attachment section is configured to secure its correspondingly joined side edge region of the absorbent composite to the outward surface (56) of the first body panel (52).
