Abstract: Provided is a biaxially oriented polypropylene film that has high stiffness, has excellent heat resistance at a high temperature of 150° C., easily maintains a bag shape when being made into a packaging bag, and has less pitch shift during printing or fewer wrinkles in a sealed portion when being heat-sealed. A biaxially oriented polypropylene film, wherein a maximum elongation of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film at 150° ° C. or lower measured by a thermomechanical analyzer (TMA) is not larger than 1.5 mm in a longitudinal direction and not larger than 0.1 mm in a width direction, and a heat shrinkage rate of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film at 150° C. is not higher than 10% in the longitudinal direction and not higher than 30% in the width direction.

Abstract: A battery packaging material including a laminate that is provided with a barrier layer, a heat-fusible resin layer positioned on one surface side of the barrier layer, and a polyester film positioned on the other surface side of the barrier layer. When the infrared absorption spectrum on the surface of the polyester film in 18 directions at intervals of 10° from 0° to 180° is obtained using the total reflection method of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, the ratio (surface orientation degree, Ymax/Ymin) of the maximum value Ymax and the minimum value Ymin of the ratio (Y1340/Y1410) of the absorption peak intensity Y1340 in 1340 cm−1 and the absorption peak intensity Y1410 in 1410 cm−1 in the infrared absorption spectrum is in the range of 1.4-2.7.

Abstract: A method for preparing an unsintered PTFE film capable of being continuously formed and with uniform density distribution and high density. The method for preparing the unsintered PTFE film includes filling a mixture obtained by adding a forming aid to PTFE fine powder in an extrusion forming die, extruding the filled mixture from the extrusion forming die to produce an extrusion forming body, rolling the extrusion forming body with a roll to produce a forming aid-removed film without the forming aid, and pinching the forming aid-removed film into a pinch roll made of a rubber roll formed by coating rubber on a metal shaft core at room temperature and compressing the forming aid-removed film so that thickness of the forming aid-removed film is reduced and density thereof is above 2.0 g/cm3.

Abstract: An integral geogrid includes a plurality of interconnected, oriented strands having an array of openings therein that is produced from a coextruded multilayer polymer sheet starting material. Abstract: The invention provides a flame-retardant biaxially-oriented polyester film which is porous, and has high reflectance. The flame-retardant biaxially-oriented polyester film contains a polymer component containing polyethylene terephthalate and a flame retardant. The polyester film has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.50 to 0.64 dL/g and a density of 1.21 to 1.27 g/cm3. A content of the polyethylene terephthalate in the polyester film is 70 to 97% by mass. The flame retardant contains at least one phosphorus-based flame retardant selected from the group consisting of a phosphinate and a diphosphinate. A content of the phosphorus-based flame retardant in the polyester film is 3 to 8% by mass. The polyester film is a porous film having an average reflectance of 60 to 74% at a wavelength of 400 to 700 nm. The polyester film has a thickness of 15 to 45 μm.
