Abstract: Various network slice assignment arrangements are presented. A network slice management system can create a multi-dimensional attribute matrix that defines network slices that operate on a physical cellular network. Using a machine learning algorithm, network slices that operate on the physical cellular network can be clustered based on attributes to create slice classes. A classification process to determine a slice class that most closely matches a cellular network service request may be performed. A network slice can then be selected from the slice class and be used for providing cellular network service.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for adaptive bandwidth (BW) management configuring an element management control unit including a set of distribution/central units (DU/CU) for monitoring power and traffic loads at a plurality of cell sites in a network; communicating with a BW management unit coupled to the element management system to adapt BW for users at cell sites by moving users to a set of smaller bandwidth parts (BWPs) at a cell site in response to a set of conditions of AC power outages and reduced traffic loads detected by the BW management unit, and in response to at least one of the detected conditions, instructing based on data from the DU/CU to the BW management unit to move user traffic to a designated lower BWP of the set of smaller BWPs at the cell site while shutting down other BWPs at the cell site to save the power of an operating cell site.

Abstract: A system for dynamic edge routing of data traffic for a mobile entity having a plurality of applications is provided. An automotive edge router (AER) is located on the mobile entity. The AER is configured to connect to and be in signal communication with a plurality of cellular networks associated with different communication service providers (CSPs), and to receive performance data for each of the plurality of cellular networks. A data traffic controller is in signal communication with the AER via one of the plurality of cellular networks and is configured to receive the performance data for each cellular network from the AER, to dynamically select one of the plurality of cellular networks for each of the applications on the mobile entity based on the performance data, and to transmit a command signal to the AER indicating the selection of one of the plurality of cellular networks for each application.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable media facilitate cellular network security. Communications corresponding to requested network access from an external entity may be processed. Configuration specifications to instantiate network slices may be generated. The network slices may be instantiated in accordance with the configuration specifications with network access provided to user equipment of the external entity, the cellular network consequently providing the network access to the user equipment of the external entity. Signals corresponding to detection of a security event mapped to network traffic of the network slices of the cellular network may be identified. The network traffic may correspond to communications from some of the user equipment that are detected as malicious traffic. A first subset of the user equipment using the network slices to be compromised user equipment may be determined. The first subset of the user equipment or a second subset of the user equipment may be transitioned.

Abstract: Various arrangements of hybrid cloud cellular network systems are presented herein. A cellular radio access network (RAN) that includes multiple base stations (BSs) can be in communication with a cloud computing platform. Multiple cloud-implemented national data center (NDC) instantiations can be present and executed on the cloud computing platform. Network functions (NFs) are executed within each cloud-implemented NDC instantiation on the cloud computing platform. The system further includes instances of a cellular network database function that updates each other instance of the cellular network database function across the NDC instantiations.
